You know, I just realized they didn't nominate Sonic the Hedgehog 3. Potentially the last movie with Jim Carrey as Eggman. The movie that brought us Shadow the Hedgehog on a motorcycle with a gun. The Live and Learn cover, all of it. And they just...ignored it for Last of Us and Devil May Cry.

Actual trash-tier taste.
 
I have no idea why anyone would ever be actually excited for this show. It has never been good and the game reveals are at least 90% dogshit.

I had fun with Ball x Pit but Look Outside totally blows it away and deserves to be on this list. I'm voting for Blue Prince, though. I love E33 but it will win in other categories.

Extremely overrated due to all the mouthbreathing tourists who don't know what a good RPG is praising it as, well, the second coming of Christ as you said. Reminds me a lot of Final Fantasy 7, actually, but apparently the game is fine for what it is. Just like FF7 I can see why people like it, but I also can't see why it's fetishized so damn much. Since these numbnuts don't have a point of reference for what makes for a good RPG or a good JRPG, it will probably win GOTY because it made them cry and that makes it super duper relateable, not like there were any big heavyhitters this year so this doesn't help.

Nobody who takes this charade seriously has a good taste in the first place. Hopefully we will get a fan game awards this year too, the first one seems to have pissed off all the right people.
 
Didn't boogie1488 win the best content creator a few years back? To go from that to now being Keem's bitch is quite the hilarious fall.
Also, LAMO that Kangz Creed Nipland didn't make this category (I know it's not an RPG, but it's funny to see it not be nominated for as many things as I thought it would've been).

This is exactly what I am talking about, the year is so bad that they have two bite sized Obsidian RPGs on selection, with one that is, what, a week old? And another one that has been out for months and nobody remembers it, neither the haters or it's non-existent fans.

E33 does make me cringe when it comes to the fanbase, what with them saying that it is the only good “JRPG” out there, that it singlehandledly made all of Japan’s actual JRPGs outdated, and poorly made compared to it, and that there’s no reason they should try anymore. As E33 is far more sophisticated compared to all that “weeb trash”.
