personally I was fine with SF4 and even liked the sketch style
SF5 did the faces best imo. Characters I wouldn't even look at twice like Chun-Li became really attractive
SF6 is just grotesque, even without the globohomo and nigger pandering, the redesigns of previously existing characters are repulsive so far

at first I was repulsed and confused by SFV akumer, but over time I grew used to the look
what helped me was to think of it as a kind of lion's mane (and not look too close; thankfully akumer's moves are so flashy and his movement so quick that you don't really get a good look)
