this is just looking sad so far. I'm seeing a lot here that adults are being treated like criminals in the fandom by kids who weren't even alive when the damn things came out, simply for still enjoying toys they have a nostalgic attachment to. They seem to be anti-tucute...in the bad way. They're probably among the edgy 14 year old "boi"s that turned the transmed community into the shitshow that it is now.

Semi offtopic, but for anyone interested:

- 2.0mm is the screwdriver size needed for the happy meal furbies

Furbology / furbae has been the centre of furby drama for close to two years now. It started off with people jealous that she owns multiple KC furbies, and bitter that they can’t afford her (albeit inflated) prices, citing her as the cause of the furby price inflation and accusing her of “gatekeeping” the community, "furbies should be accessible to all!!".

There’s since been quite a few claims of people being scammed by her, but little to no proof of that. I’m hesitant to believe these claims due to people editing screenshots of her in the past (note: I can’t seem to find the posts about this, but I distinctively remember it happening at the time, but with all these furby blogs deleting and renaming, it makes shit hard to find) and the general hate-train against her. She does seem to have inflated shipping prices though, but I struggle to find any verifiable proof of her “scamming” beyond that.

Basically, kids are jealous this girl owns multiple of their dream furby and actually makes money from buying and selling furbies. There's a lot more, search "furbology" on furbyconfessions or something, it pulls up a lot.

Never in my life would I think that "furby drama" would be something that multiple people with developed brains would take seriously. Kinda fascinating honestly.

The SpiderFurb is actually pretty cool, there's a video of it walking around.
Not really anything about drama other than posts that said 'we don't talk about/sell to Furbae' and the like, though I did find this funny.

Just got to say, this continues to be the comfiest thread on the farms, and I've been retreating to it whenever the horrorcows get just a little too horrific. Longfurb's love is great and his dogs plump and plentiful. It's all going to be okay.

The longfurbs with hands are my favorite part of this. Classic longfurb is Very Good, but the hand-blessed bretheren just have a certain aesthetic about them that's spookily endearing.
Also I can't wait until that concept sketch of the mannequin leg furby becomes a reality.
