Not even gonna lie, this thread made me hop on eBay and buy a furby for myself and one for an offline friend. I found 2 being sold together, one black and one white, and I call them the Brothers. I never owned one as a kid so I was like fuck it, might as well, and now I have a disciple of Longfurb.

I've followed the community for a while, I always thought it odd that a community based around something so harmless could have so much discourse and be so drama filled; from price inflation to "all furbies are gay/ trans" but then again, it is kids (mainly) on the internet after-all. The time and money some people dedicate to furbies is both highly :autism: and somewhat impressive at the same time.

I think I found the creator of longfurb on Twitter. Apparently a group of longfurb is called a curse.
