Wow you're rewarded with gold tokens and slot machine noises? Seems like a good thing for children.
This game is literally adderall riddled adhd zoomer/child bait with low effort AI voice acting and AI generated weapon skins sold for real money. Despite this I like it
due to player outcry the damage of C4 was reduced rather heavily.
They nerf everything that is a counter strategy to people with wallhacks and perfect aim, lights are the worst offenders of whining because they can't see a fucking beeping glowing landmine and blow themselves up so that needs to be nerfed too apparently.
I just wanted to let it be known that I absolutely hate Lights
Lights attract the worst types of players, they're annoying to play against and they're annoying to play with. Better nerf landmines because a light whined. Better nerf heavy because light whines. Lights have a high loss rate, better nerf heavy.

Playing a minigun heavy makes you realize how braindead most of the players are. Probably 90% of lights will just try to out-dps duel you over and over. Then they get pissed off and switch to dagger+dash...

I found the "everything i read on reddit is true"

I just bought into the hype of this and have been playing for a solid week now. Played one quick cash match and got bitched at the entire time so I pretty much decided to stick to TDM until I get the hang of everything, but even then SoloQ is the most infuriating thing in the world. I don't have friends or comms to autistically strategize against a meta that is years old now. They told me it was just mindless shooting fun, what the fuck.

Game is still fun for me but there needs to be something done to better separate the casual and competitive players, incentivizing quick play rewards and turning Quick Cash into "24/7 third party simulator" by adding wave respawning was not a smart move in that regard. There hasn't been much effort done in dealing with the meta heavy 3-stack pandemic. It's still better than it was in S3 though. Lots of CL40 hate this season but I think flamethrower is the greater evil, how tf that war crime against basic visibility and design language hasn't been toned down yet is beyond me.

I've gotten frustrated with a lot of light's kit after a while, too many autists to have fun with sniper, bow got fucked, not enough of a dick to use light shotguns more than once a blue moon. Tried something unusual for me but I'm not enough of a pussy to rely on cloak, so I've started playing with smoke grenades more. It's fun just messing with people and I like that light is getting more support options, I carry the infuser with me quite often almost as much as I am addicted to using the gateway - it takes some away from medium's purpose in the game though. Patching out all the jumppad tech and making the medium's shotgun options all relatively poor definitely isn't helping with that. I found medium much more fun to play around S4.

The concept is really fun but I am not enjoying myself when I load this game up...just give me ARC raiders already...

I'm surprised they finally got around to nerfing the tazer to oblivion. That actually makes fighting light players tolerable. It's a shame they made Heavy players twice as annoying by basically giving him two of those, but better.

The lockbolt is a ridiculiously tanky POS that doubles as crowd control, and the claw basically guarantees you a risk-free kill that your teammates can easily camp. It's obvious Embark designed the claw around the spear and nothing else in heavy's arsenal.

It's a shame, because the game has grown into a genuinely fun thing otherwise if we discount this and the "fuck building communities" SBMM cancer.
