JUST IN: Pleb, admin of hunk.city instance decided to have some fun before his domain expires, and tagged the entire fucking fediverse in a single hellthread, including unsuspecting troons in Mastodon walled gardens.

While pleromers with HellthreadPolicy can sleep soundly (even though their server might be struggling right now), a bunch of low-end instances got wiped out, and dozens of people got their own taste of hellthread.

Of course, #fediblock lads didn't keep waiting, either. Some blamed those who accidentally replied as well, since starting post might not have been federated dut to hunk.city being blocked for racism/transphobia/whatever.

Some suspected Pleb might've been hacked, but Welt of arachnid.town confirmed it isn't the case, and Pleb have done it personally and on purpose. Motives still aren't fully clear, though.

It was funny watching all the fediblock troons and fags sperg out about being mass tagged. All they had to do was mute the conversation and mute him, but that’d be too easy to do.

A couple of months ago there was a paper about moderation of Pleroma instances. Yesterday (or the day before, idk) it turned out that one of people behind it started yet another research, this time directly asking various instance admins about how much time they spend moderating them. At the very least there's two instances they asked, our own kiwifarms.cc and freecumextremist.com, the home of many avant-garde posters.
@CrunkLord420 dismissed the questions with furious prejudice.

Well, today people discovered that pleroma.fun, the instance that seemingly was specifically set up by this "bishop" to ask those questions, is misconfigured and allows open registrations to everyone. You could guess what happened next.

People started shitposting, impersonating and tagging other parties. Sadly, for whatever reason it goes down and up again without any input. If those are attempts of Bishop at cleaning up the slate, he isn't too successful in that.

Well, turns out one of the Poasters is a pedo. Anonymous Comrades Collective, the same people who doxxed Borzoi, his huge nosed wife, and Graf, dug into user "g117ch", specifically his criminal record with the great state of Tennessee which revealed that, whoops! Hes a kid fucker!

Why do these fucking people always have to make me wanna dislike D&D and also give bot some credit in her being right for once in her miserable life? But this doesn’t even surprise me. Poast pretty much lets just about any jabrony sign up and start posting. Feds, advertisers and lawyers have all signed up on poast.

I used to believe in the fediverse because it represented a way to chip at globohomo corporate control of the Internet while also in a lot of respects return it to the old Wild West of the 1990s. But all the cool "content creators" are still on Twitter or whatever, and fedi by and large is just a designated shitting grounds for everybody who got removed from whatever else, and that includes other related federated services like Matrix.

It's such a cool idea. So much potential. And then, the rubber hits the road, and we get this shit. It's disappointing.

That hellthread was fun, but it revealed a lot that came as no surprise. I was disappointed in how gear handled it but I was even more disappointed to see people actively defending g177ch after it’s been confirmed he’s a chomo.
