Can we really trust a reddit post claiming "his roommate told him" about this?

I mean, I have no doubt NJA was some sort of troll, but it would be nice if we had a more reliable source.

EDIT: Yeah, looking around the subreddit it seems like it's used to jokingly attribute "subtle trolling" stories to Jon Wolf. The most we can take from this is that the poster is a Kiwi and knew about the whole NJA thing.

True or not, it's why if someone does nothing but derail threads, just block them and quit playing into their bullshit. NJA wasn't why the Entersphere was doomed. The people feeding into him every time he posted were, as well as all the nice blokes.

I'm vaguely curious how Enter expects Growing Around to succeed as a show when most of his recruited cast isn't even treating it that seriously.

But it's been already established that he had no idea what he was doing, so the only thing I'm surprised by is that GA is still in development.

If the link isn't working for some reason, basically it's just Enter saying it's still a thing but will be delayed by his mortal enemy college.

I'm somewhat ambivalent toward that. I had been kind of hoping Enter would wise up about that bullshit for his own sake.

But at the same time, the Growing Around shit was one of the few actually funny, lolcowish things Enter did, and it's about the only thing I miss about the Entersphere forum.

So, how does Enter imagine GA playing out? Just marching into some exec's office and being handed a timeslot?

Pretty much. Past conversations people have had with Enter or people affiliated with him have shown that Enter thinks that he can:

1) Manage to get an interview to pitch this show to begin with.
2) Manage to have executive control on this show without meddling from outside sources instead of having Nickelodeon or Cartoon Network giving him his own team or, you know, putting him on one of their already successful cartoons.

Basically, he's ignorant about the industry he's "passionate' about joining. Like he is about cartoons. Or education. ... Or anything besides not making himself too big of a target on the Internet, really. The only redeeming quality he has is that he doesn't feed the trolls, which just makes him a boring sperg.

That's one of the laughable things about Enter's mindset. That he seems to think he could waltz into Nickelodeon or Cartoon Network, go "I want total creative control..." and they'll just shrug and go "Duuuuuuuuuuuh, ok!"

I've been wondering what happened with that. He wasn't that much of a lolcow, but all those people were way over their heads with that project being a success.

What's even funnier is that there are people obsessed with enter because they disagree with his views on cartoons

You know what more interesting then enter or his show, the fact people who say enter isn't worth talking about but then go on talking about him in thread about people obsessed with enter.

Sure.

Wait, that was @NostalgiaJazzAdmirer?

That post is even funnier now.

Can you imagine how spergy the sub forum would have become if it was still active today? I was just looking at some of the older posts, and I think they just would have gone even more downhill, if that were possible.

I don't know how it would turn out. Most Enterbots have dried up, and MrEnter's videos are so repetitive that the users would run out of things to sperg about after a month.

I agree, but I think it would have started an avalanche of Cool Guys trying desperately to make new material by directly going to Enter and company. I find that usually stuff instigated by Cool Guys just isn't usually as funny, and seems more forced.
