Also imo the "Ulfric is an Thalmor asset/agent" is often overexaggerated in online discussion.
It's very much a Germany & Lenin situation. They cynically released Ulfric into Skyrim hoping he'd cause trouble. They don't believe in the cause or anything, just that he could possibly advance their
Ok I actually kind of like this idea.
I would find it funny if the Khajiits ended up being the guys who are more or less on the money about the creation of the universe. The silly cat-people who do drugs and talk weird are the guys who have shit most figured out. The fact their biology is determined by the positioning of the moons could more or less be all the proof you need that they're more interwoven with the creation of the world than other races. There's also one other little thing and you can see it in Morrowind.
In Morrowind, one of the stranger pronunciations to modern players would be Sheogorath.
"Sheg-go-rath" versus the more common "Sheo-gor-rath"
Sheogorath himself uses this pronunciation, but phonetically we see it in one other place.
In the
Words of Clan Mother Ahnissi, Sheogorath is instead written as:
"Sheggorath, you are the Skooma Cat, for what is crazier than a cat on
skooma?"
This version of the creation myth has some of the aedra and daedra have a familial relationship, which would kind of explain why
Sheogorath and Azura are having friendly wagers in the first place.
A lot of the expanded lore for the setting found in TES Online could be acceptable, and some of it
is intriguing, it's just after a certain point it stops being so; somewhere around the point of them adding a new Daedric god and making Sheogorath into an in-universe meme and not just one in the community is where I'd draw the line. I do wonder if they're going to add
every single book and text from TES Online into TES 6 effectively canonising them.
