I simply decided existing music solutions were not good enough after OpenMW's music system was dehardcoded. The underlying playlist mechanism used by OpenMW is very powerful - but due to a disagreement about playlist conflict resolution, the public API for music playlists was removed. Since that time, version 0.49 has straightforwardly not been living up to its true potential.
S3maphore fixes that. Why call it S3maphore?
In computing, a semaphore is a synchronization primitive designed to allow concurrent access to systems which may really only have one consumer at a time. This definition and application both date back to mid-nineteenth century, when the semaphore was first developed as a safety measure for signalling train drivers on railways.
This one is no different - S3maphore is a full replacement for OpenMW's builtin music handling that can be configured or permutated in any way you can imagine.

S3maphore works through a system of playlists, similarly to Dynamic Music or MUSE. However, unlike both, S3maphore is an open-ended system, which allows playlist creators to define any conditions under which a playlist should run. For more details, view the Playlist Creation section of S3maphore's readme (or the St4sh page!)
S3maphore includes an *extensive* array of options to allow other modders or playlist creators to dial their music playback in *exactly* as they want it. If you come up with a playback rule or some useful state, please let me know! I'd love to incorporate it.
do we have prebuilt radiant shit for skyrim? i tried searching and there is nothing outside make your own but my timeframe is pretty tight right now.
shieet i don't even have time to hand-pick the mods from collections not to mention find a good collection to hand pick mods from, they always add legacy of dragonborn or JK's shit for some fucking reason and most of the QoL mods don't exist outside trannyxus, while i am asking, is there a mod that finally lets you level up your companions with perks and whatnot? seeing how old skyrim is there should be, right? it's not like nexus search is useful in this case.
one good thing i like is that the silly shit mods that i have work fine for AE without any crash, seeing nazeem flying after his cloud district quip never gets old.

Yeah I saw his FFXIV video before all this went down and in it he was playing a catboy wearing skirts and such. That's what I mean. If you are a troon you would play as a woman. If you wanted a visually appealing looking character, you would play as a woman. if you are a woman you play as a woman or a handsome man. The only people who play as catboys are the truely deranged.

Arena doesn't have a lot going for it. Also the numpad controls are pretty brutal. Its fun though for a bit.
I personally recommend Daggerfall. Grab yourself daggerfall unity, you don't have to mod it too much you can go in pretty raw just tick simplified / smaller dungeons or whatever it is in the options to save your sanity.
I recommend the OG music and models cause I think they still look really good.
But Unity Daggerfall is what a remaster SHOULD be - its perfection. Easy to mod the game too tons of mods out there.
