I wound up doing a deep dive on some of the lore thanks to the Amulet of Kings quest in Legacy of the Dragonborn and god damn do the Divines really fucking hate the elves. Its no wonder the Altmer have such a hate boner for Talos.
That's why most of the greatest heroes were Elf genociders. Most Elves suck something fierce. The Altmer were ok at best until the Dominion took over and pretty much killed or otherwise got rid of all the good Altmer. The Dominion itself just being comically evil.
-The Dunmer are/were slavers, drug dealers, Daedra worshippers, and all around not great to live around.
-The Ayleid...the Ayleid. Cracked out Telvanni. Flesh gardens to name one thing. Pelinal only did one thing wrong, being a fag.
-The Bosmer are a bunch of savages, hannibal ass tree fuckers to be as light on them as possible. MUH GREEN PACT.
-The Dwemer were very interesting but devoid of much in the way of morality, blame it on their science worship, making their own God and disappearing. What they left behind are as interesting or boring as they are depending on how much the plot needs a Macguffin. Given their shenanigans with the Snow Elves, not great people. The only remaining Dwemer is some bloated fuck who vagueposts for a living since he barely knows shit that isn't plot relevant.
-No one gives a fuck about the Lefties, the "cooler Redguard" (Yokudons) had Elf translate to enemy so they might not even be Elves. If they were, congrats you suck so much your name means "kill on sight." They ended up going to war with a bunch of unga bunga Druids on some backwater archipelago and failing, proceeded to get "mostly" obliterated by a volcano, then raped to death by some nignog Ra Gada's while already starving to death anyways.
-Dunno about the Maormer since they're ESO slop other than they're pirates and their King gets BTFO'd every time he tries to take the Summerpiss Isles and eventually got perma-owned by what's essentially a Psijic sneeze. Great lore, literally just worse water Dunmer.
-Everything an Orc does can be dismantled by reminding them how they only exist because Boethiah vored Trinimac and shat out Malacath (though I think Boe just took his soul and pretended to be him for a while, the Mac is also said to just be a form Gods can take, lore is whacky), they get casually sacked every time they try to make something of themselves in Orsinium that isn't some mudhut, their culture is based around blood and literal fecal matter (at least parts of it, the dingleberry doesn't fall far from the asshole), and their peak worth is smacking metal really hard either in the heat of a forge or battle.
-The Snow Elves only exist to slaughter a bunch of Almoran farmers, only to later get bodied by 500 Altmorans chads then proceed to get turned into mushroom experiments by the Dwemer. Existing now only as a bunch of blind, savage, bug breeders. The only normal SE is some cave dwelling "Paladin" and some Vampire loser.
-Breton are more Man than Mer, even then no one really gives a fuck about them. Not even Bethesda. They got one thing in ESO but it's ESO and not even that memorable in any capacity. The only real thing people remember from the Bretons is that one Knight proving that the chad Human Fighter shits on whatever gay little fantasy people want to RP as.
-The Aldmer are too ancient to really get an idea of them, but they supposedly started this mess as the first of the Elves (or at least the progenitor of the Altmer).
I'm being overdramatic about all of this of course, but yeah I can see why the Gods hate Elves. Doesn't help the Altmer are trying to end reality and ascend to Godhood because they're completely unable to appreciate life.

This really can't be overstated. Much is made about the arduous pilgrimage to the wayshrines but it really doesn't seem that bad. It's really just tedious and nettlesome like everything in Dawnguard. If the Snow Elves thought that was tough, it's no wonder the Nords fucked them up. They didn't have to deal with the Falmer or getting spitroasted by dragons, either.

Your new game is almost ready saar

To be fair, it's most likely way more arduous in the lore or otherwise outside the game, but the game is Skyrim and they're dumbing that shit down and removing anything that the negrobovine might consider too complex.

It does make sense, given that the Divines decided to remain in Mundus rather than fleeing back to Aetherius with Magnus, since they saw that it did have merit. Meanwhile, the elves resent being in Mundus and the Thalmor are actually trying to unmake it. It will also never stop being funny that the Dunmer accept Mundus as being a sort of spiritual gym to level them up as part of the Psijic Endeavor and this is probably part of what resulted in their champion, the Nerevarine, being the only protagonist of an Elder Scrolls game to get a personal visit from an avatar of Talos (curiously, Talos carries moon sugar in his inventory).
talos was a human, who doesn't like a puff of crack every now and then? still, if the elves want to die so fucking bad why don't they just ritualistic suicide in aetherius? the divines fucking hate them so no one will take their souls and they can go back to a state of nothingness since dying in aetherius has your soul destroyed or sum shit, probably because the big cheeses in there absorb the soul essence.
Pelinal only did one thing wrong, being a fag.
about right yeah, time travel fuckery can be retarded and end up like terminator with him being someone's dad needing to go back to the past and impregnate a bitch in order to ensure his kid doesn't disappear and all that, while pelinal being a faggot and fucking some random nobody was okay for akatosh's safety, he could have easily just banged a infertile bitch, they are hard to find though.

"Morihaus, your son, mighty and snorting, gore-horned, winged, when next he flies down, let him bring us anger." ... (And then) Kyne granted Perrif another symbol, a diamond soaked red with the blood of elves, (whose) facets could (un-sector and form) into a man whose every angle could cut her jailers and a name: PELIN-EL (which is) "The Star-Made Knight" (and he) was arrayed in armor (from the future time). And he walked into the jungles of Cyrod already killing, Morihaus stamping at his side froth-bloody and bellowing from excitement because the Pelinal was come..." Song of Pelinal, Volume 2

I play frostfall and its enough that if youre not careful youll fucking die from exposure so id say that pretty arduous.

Eight asterisks isn't enough for Hammerfell but is enough for High Rock.
I always thought it might as well be both, like Daggerfall. I think it makes the most sense because Hammerfell brings the sword-singing mechanic they could use as a selling point.

Meanwhile High Rock brings politics and shit (ha, like they're going to take advantage of that), and it's where Direnni Tower is located, isn't it? And I mean if the game focuses on beating the Thalmor, I'm 100% sure Direnni Tower will be the final dungeon.

..Also, 8 asterisks is enough for Iliac Bay.

It is just enough for BULLSHIT though.
I'm sure Asha who has experience in games like 5 minutes of halo and an hour in mixtape knows a good title when she sees it and totally has faith in bethesda to create a masterpiece after slitting their throats and telling them to put up and shut up a week before this.

Totally not a stunt to try and justify the money spent in this niggardly studio.

To be fair, the Snow Elves had the Snow Prince, who was such a great warrior that he filled the most battle-hardened Nords with fear and when he was killed, the Nords respected him so much that they buried him in the style of royalty and wished that the Nordic gods would look after him in death

Honestly I couldn't even give a shit about the Aldmeri Dominion anymore. Yeah I know everyone wants to larp Pelinal but they're just so fucking boring, generic Nazi standins. They'll probably just be used to contrast how 'diverse' the good guys in Hammerfell are. The only way it would be interesting is if they had the balls to make the Thalmor joinable and flesh out both sides.
