It still actually surprises me people give ralph money. If it's because the guests, they can easily just give money to them via patreon or whatever.

Because they feel entitled to give money to the person responsible for hosting the guests. If Ralph is entertaining enough, I can agree with that sentiment, but I have never watched a KS in full before. So, I do not even know if he's entitled to that money or not.
