I think that it might be because he doesn't want to antagonize a literal cyber criminal when NP2 is still a thing, because Dick being this much of a cuck doesn't really fit into literally any other part of his personality that he openly displays on the internet. Either that, or he's starting to feel his age and just doesn't want to make any more enemies because age is the leading cause of the pussification of men.

The anti-Dick side seems to have a habit of making and repeating claims that have spurious to no evidence (@Null, can you please provide evidence that you, in fact, have not received Bitcoin from Russian oligarchs?) in much the same way politispergs do in the hope that it gets just enough absorption and repetition among the middle that it becomes "fact." And I don't think they're doing it accidentally or subconsciously. "The evidence will come out soon" is not a substitute for evidence.

We could have had just laughed at Dick's sappy texts for a couple days and then just moved on, but they couldn't leave well enough alone and now we've got all this grassy knoll bullshit and there's just no evidence. This is not just like GamerGate because with GamerGate there was evidence that quickly went beyond the circumstantial.

Drop the evidence now, spergs, or else go back to making fast food mukbangs that get two dozen views.

I didn't really give a shit about Dick's texts being leaked. I thought they were kind of funny. But when PPP started reading Dick's texts on the stream yesterday, like Jim I could not contain my laughter, so it really was gold like Dick had said, but the Gay Ops™ surrounding it made it boring and tiresome infinitely faster than if they had just leaked the texts and made fun of them normally. Going in on the conspiracy angle really killed any kind of momentum for funny it had, and the saving grace is PPP's weaponized autism keeping it funny and entertaining. But then Leo had to open his niggerfaggot faggot nigger mouth and ruin that angle, too.

I think PPP 'won', but in a broader sense. He got the attention of many more people than he otherwise could have, and he was moderately funny. Nick is a boomer and was unprepared for any kind of chaos on what was otherwise meant to be a somewhat structured stream. I think Dick was playing it up like he usually does for the audience on that stream, but I could buy a solid argument that he wasn't.

I don't believe every word of his was measured and weighed for maximum impact like some kind of speech writer. I think he's just really good at getting people riled up. If PPP ditches the Gay Ops™ angle and continues being an autistic sperg, he'd make a great subject for a legitimately entertaining thread, which is high praise coming from me when I thought two days ago that he was completely and entirely insufferable to listen to.

So, yeah. PPP won. But more importantly, we won.

The only option for Dick to prevent meaningful damage to his image regarding how we Kiwis look at him would be to essentially wage war against Zoom for the shit he's pulled, but I doubt he will. Still, I don't think any of this will do much damage to his image regarding his fanbase.

That's usually how these things start, they're fun at first while you still have patience for it and your patreon gets a small boost from the decent exposure. Plus the added cope that will make you spin whatever is happening into something positive so you don't have to worry.

But it always ends the same, after a week or so it gets annoying having the chat always revolt against you, you end up saying stupid shit that cuts into other things you're into, and before you know it your identity is just the drama swirling around you and nothing else you want to be known for.

He's not there yet, if Dick doesn't learn to step back and take the L on this he'll get there soon.
