People who drink too much milk are at a higher risk of an early death, and the risk is greater for women than men, the results of a new study in Sweden suggest.
The study, done by researchers at Uppsala University and Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, examined information provided by around 106,000 men and women in the country.

It showed that those who consume a large amount of milk run the risk of an earlier death than those who don't due to increased chronic low-grade inflammation in the body. And the new research is the first to suggest a difference in risk according to gender.

"In a previous study we observed that a high level of milk consumption is linked to an earlier death. However this new study shows that there is indeed a gender difference, which is something that hasn’t been shown before," Uppsala University's Karl Michaëlsson told The Local.

"My advice though is to see this study as a piece of a puzzle. We need more pieces of the puzzle before authorities can give definitive recommendations," he added.

The study, published in the American Journal of Epidemiology, followed up on previous research which suggests that milk drinkers are not better protected against bone fractures (for women, the opposite was actually observed).

The new research suggests that regular milk drinkers do however risk shortening their lives, with the risk at its highest among women who drink a lot of milk.

"That could be explained by the gender differences in how women and men break down galactose, a component of the milk sugar lactose. Among animals there are clear gender differences in this area," Michaëlsson noted.

For women who drink at least three glasses of milk and eat fruit and vegetables a maximum of one time per day, the risk of dying earlier is almost three times higher than for women who drink no more than one glass of milk per day and eat fruit and vegetables at least five times per day.

Women who drink three glasses of milk per day and eat fruit and vegetables at least five times per day still showed a 60 percent higher risk of earlier death than women who consumed the same amount of fruit and veg but drink little to no milk at all.

For men it is a different story however. The risk of early death is only 30 percent higher for men who drink at least three glasses of milk per day than it is for men who rarely or never drink milk. In contrast to women, the amount of fruit and vegetables they consume did not appear to significantly alter those outcomes.

Asked if the study shows that women in particular should moderate their milk consumption, researcher Michaëlsson took a cautious stance.

"The study is an observational study and it alone should not be used as a basis for recommendations. We need more pieces of the puzzle."

One study from 2005 found that when a four-year-old girl, a 15-year-old boy and a group of 21-year-olds - all of whom were on the autism spectrum - consumed camel’s tard cum for an extended period of time, their autism symptoms disappeared.
But is it more effective than MMS?

At least it's not straight up poison.

But I really doubt the veracity of those claims. But desperate people will buy it. And at least camel milk isn't going to kill your child.

But I don't understand how camel milk is dairy free. It's a dairy product. Am I missing something?:\

Dumbasses who assume “dairy” means cow milk. Maaaaaaybe it has naturally lower lactose than cows milk, but I’m pretty sure that if you’re allergic to milk, you’re allergic to any kind of milk, human, cow, sheep, goat, camel, etc.

"DAIRY
and DAIRY-FARMING (from the Mid. Eng. deieris, from dey, a maid-servant, particularly one about a farm; cf. Norw. deia, as in bu-deia, a maid in charge of live-stock, and in other compounds; thus “dairy” means that part of the farm buildings where the “dey” works). Milk, either in its natural state, or in the form of butter and cheese, is an article of diet so useful, wholesome and palatable, that dairy management, which includes all that concerns its production and treatment, constitutes a most important branch of husbandry. The physical conditions of the different countries of the world have determined in each case the most suitable animal for dairy purposes. The Laplander obtains his supplies of milk from his rein-deer, the roving Tatar from his mares, and the Bedouin of the desert from his camels."

EEX will become the first exchange in Europe to offer such a product. So far, EEX offers trading with futures on butter, skimmed milk powder and whey powder.

The contract volume is 25,000kg. For the financial settlement of the new product EEX uses the EEX European Liquid Milk Index, which is equally composed of milk prices from Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark and Ireland. The prices are based on the European Commission’s “Milk Market Observatory” in accordance with (EU) No. 2017/1185 Article 12 (a) – Annex II.4(a).

Sascha Siegel, head of agricultural commodities at EEX, said with the expansion of the product range EEX is meeting the needs of the European dairy markets and enabling customers to hedge against price risks with even higher precision.

“The development of butter, skimmed milk and whey powder prices over the last years has shown that the European dairy markets are subject to significant price tensions. We are convinced that the new product is an attractive supplement to risk management in the agricultural markets,” Siegel said.

EEX has offered trading in agricultural products since May 2015. In 2017, 137,820 tonnes of commodity equivalent were traded on the EEX dairy derivatives market. As a result, the volume increased by 68% compared to the previous year (2016: 82,050 tonnes of commodity equivalent).

EEX develops, operates and connects secure, liquid and transparent markets for energy and related products. EEX is part of Deutsche Börse Group.

i mean i guess i understand why you would want to invest in tard cum, but why couldn't you just go into a group home, show them some porno, and get it for yourself? seems a lot simpler to me tbh

More than 30 years after the Chernobyl disaster, milk in some parts of Ukraine still has radioactivity levels up to five times the official safe limit, new research suggests.

Scientists sampled cows' milk from private farms and homes in the Rivne region, about 125 miles from the site of the catastrophic explosion at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant in 1986.

They found levels of radioactive caesium in milk above Ukraine's safe limit for adults of 100 Becquerel per litre (Bq/L) at six of 14 settlements studied, and above the children's limit of 40 Bq/L at eight sites.

The highest levels found were about 500 Bq/L - five times over the limit for adults and more than 12 times that for children.

The study was carried out at the University of Exeter and the Ukrainian Institute of Agricultural Radiology.

“More than 30 years after the Chernobyl disaster, people are still routinely exposed to radioactive caesium when consuming locally produced staple foods, including milk, in Chernobyl-affected areas of Ukraine,” said Dr Iryna Labunska, of the University of Exeter.

“Many people in the area we studied keep cows for milk, and children are the main consumers of that milk.

“Though the level of soil contamination in the studied areas is not extremely high, radioactive caesium continues to accumulate in milk and other foods.

“The residents of these villages are chronically exposed to radioactivity that presents health risks to almost every system in the body - especially among children.”

The researchers claim simple protective measures could be taken to bring radiation exposure levels below limits at a cost of less than 10 euros(£8.80) per person per year for the 8,300 people living in the six villages with the highest contamination.

Such measures include administering a caesium binder called Ferrocyn to cows, mineral fertilisation of potato fields and feeding pigs with uncontaminated fodder.

The cost of this would decrease each year as radiation levels fall, scientists say.

However, they warn if no action is taken, milk contamination will continue to exceed the 100 Bq/L adult limit in parts of Ukraine until at least 2040.

“The Ukrainian government has taken some of these measures in the past, but that stopped in 2009,” Dr Labunska said.

“Government and international monitoring needs to take place, along with help for people affected by this radiation.

“This situation should also act as a warning and a reminder of just how long the legacy of nuclear accidents can be.

“Without adequate countermeasures, what may now seem a purely historical event will remain a daily reality for those communities most impacted.”

How much of a problem is this for people who live there?

Cesium is a Potassium analogue and uptake by your body is very high. Keeping levels down and out of the food supply is very important to reduce exposure levels. Unlike, say, Uranium that your body just shits out. So good on them for figuring this out.

The funny thing about this is that it's been about 30 years since Chernobyl. The half-life of Cs-137 is about 30 years. How the hell are levels going up when the amount in the environment has gone down by half? Who is cutting corners by buying from Crazy Ivan's discount feeds (where you buy hay and don't ask question)?

Not sure if promotional campaign for the reveal of the next STALKER game...

Still though, I wouldn't trust any livestock or animal products coming out of certain regions of Ukraine. Especially the milk.

(Thas righ, I can say milk without having it turn into tard cum lol)
