Keyword being threatened as he's trying his hardest to intimidate, but yes. He and his viewers have some spat with multiple other people, including a youtuber called Kinoflex. For reasons that amount to "How dare you be anti-woke and make videos at my expense", Birdman's searched for and posted photos of Kinoflex and other people and addressed them by their real name, while he and fans have accused Kinoflex himself of doxing others. Birdman's even gone as far as to go and say "I MOG YOU" while comparing his own looks to Kinoflex's, because Birdman's own career as a youtuber and supposed voice actor is little more than a manlet nigger's vanity project, ironically modeled after "exposing grifters", even though almost all of his own content has been nothing more than pandering to people who dislike other youtubers. I think if not for having to dredge through mountains of boring posts and reply guying, there might also be worth in there being a thread about "Anti-Grifter" commentary youtubers, though the idea may be redundant to either Breadtuber or SJW content creator circles since they're fundamentally the same type of people.

So, Wil has a new video series about people who were badly cast in movies. Okay, that's not a bad idea, pointing out how the right person in the right role can make a film while the wrong one can break it is a valuable tool... And he just goes over movies and actors he's already talked about at length. The only new one is George Clooney in Batman and Robin, which is just another safe option. Fuck me. I'd say he's getting lazy but that Crash and Burn series he did where he just reused comments for targets he'd already gone after proved that ship has sailed.

I don't even like drinker but the motif of his critics all being retrograde retards continues. There's a difference between having spoken about something in the past and making a video/series specifically focusing on that subject. News coverage vs Evergreen media series have a different goal and audience in mind.

He's big enough now that even people outside of his sphere know about him, and he probably puts out feelers to see who is interested in coming onto his streams or doing interviews. That's how he got Russell Crowe and Andy Weir on his streams. The Andy Weir thing is just that they sat down and did an interview together where Andy said he doesn't want his stories to be about a message and that pissed off reddit something fierce.

Feral Historian is either being invited or putting himself out to be invited onto a range of podcasts/youtube channels. He did this recently too, (which I saw on the Feral Historian thread and could not continue listening to, because the voice affectation the host is doing is utter ear rape).

My problem with the Drinker, is that he doesn't think too much about the issues that are at the bottom of what's making things shit. He can see things are shit, see what about the story is shit, like girlboss nonsense, but he doesn't tend to look beyond it.

This is why I stopped paying attention to him years ago. It was his Midsommar review that really revealed to me that he was criticizing without a deeper understanding of the narrative. Calling it a girlboss movie was quite a stretch, and I remember even his YouTube commenters questioning his take. There were some things to critique about the movie even at a cultural level, but he totally missed the mark.

Also, him using the same clips over and over is just so damn lazy. Please get some new jokes.
