What bugs me here is he says it's nonsensical for the fire tribe to fight other na'vi when humans are an existential threat. But this is accurate to real tribes that constantly fought each other and sided with conquerors. It's the only interesting thing that has been added to their tree hippy lore.

"Pron" has been an online substitute for porn for neigh on twenty years or more. I remember seeing it in the late 90s/early 00s. Don't see it much these days.
 
I like his take here. TT at Helm's Deep is an interestingly powerful scene. Some of the FX work isn't perfect, but the overall battle itself, setup, and payoff, is only beats by ROTK's ending. Great movies. I'm so sad I didn't get to see this rereleased, they only had them out for such little time.


I do remember some mild chuckling way back when the orc had the uber-baton on fire, but that blast shut every up in awe.
 
As was mentioned by one of his guests on the last Open Bar, if you want to raise your profile, just mention Drinker in either a positive or negative light.

I know some people around here view him as a grifter, a term I think is practically threadbare with how loosely it's used these days, but I like the Scottish bastard. I'm even more pleased that the people I generally dislike are so triggered by his popularity and increasing clout.

I still don't know what this guy even did to make people so upset with him. I think CD is kind of retarded in what he critiques often, but in what fucking world is he politically anything other than classical liberal? He has on numerous occasions praised extraordinarily race-based and left-wing progressive narratives ("Sinners" especially being a recent example) and interacts with gay furries all the fucking time on EFAP. I never have nor will understand the "far right grifter" accusations made about him and why these leftist goons are so obsessed with painting him in this light, the most right wing thing he says is

I guess the indie film he made being of poor quality makes people think that he’s all talk, no talent or something. Like, for all he criticizes, he can’t do better himself.

If you find people citing things he's said or done as reasons to hate him, they'll either be incredibly miscellaneous comments, mentions of his novels or movie, or simply trying to remind you that he's a non-leftist. Attempts to explain how he's a grifter amount to just people running in circles and hoping you take their word for it, as they simultaneously assume that he's pandering to an audience of already proud racists while also pipelining unsuspecting fools into becoming turbo Nazis with hidden dogwhistles.
