dunno about honest, but my takeaway was "looks like shit so I don't bother watching". no idea why people treat it as a review or are so up in arms about it.
watching something because the reviews are good is ok, not watching something because the reviews are bad apparently is not. you don't need to watch current marvelslop to know it's shit...

That’s fine for viewers and consumers, but he is a reviewer and he literally has “critical” as his name. From a critic I do expect them to actually watch the product they are reviewing,

If the tile of the video is called "The boys season 4-How to destroy your audience" and he didn't bother to watch to watch the very thing he is critiquing, specially after recomeding season 1, then yes I actually did expect some kind of "review" or some research beyond some internet browsing on rotten tomatoes and twitter.

I didn't bother to watch "The acolyte" because I know it's trash. So I do get what you mean. Except I am not an internet reviwer, making crique videos for a living out of my opinions.

I know the short film is meant to come out soon, it'll be interesting to see what it's like. But the other issue is that it's not him. Yes he wrote it and would have some creative control as he's where the money comes from (Well, his fans, but he's still the source) but it's a different person directing and producing it. It'd be interesting to see what he'd do when he had full control of the project.

Pretty sure it would be a huge pile of nothing. Drinker doesnt strike me as thr guy who can actually direct or produce something. Like, he might know everything on paper, but when comes to doing it the dude would just freeze up.
 
Apparently Drinker made a video about why he doesn't wanna review The Boys S4 after 3 episodes of unfiltered goyslop (which it is).

This has led to a lot of the random, unknown shills of the show essentially dilating, if not straight-up photosynthesizing over it. There are a lot of them, so I'm putting them in a spoiler.

Show in its current state is perfect for Hasan. They write for an audience that doesn’t even have to turn their brains off to watch it, they come that way.

Please! I'm begging you. Just give me a timestamp where he actually talks about season 4. I've watched this video many times and I'm still waiting for him to talk about ONE episode from season 4, let alone the first three.

This whole non-review was just this:
