I remember liking Ben Drowned. When the official forums opened for the first time, I thought that having a central site for normal discussion of the ARG would be nice. I was disappointed.

One moment that sticks out in my mind is when I was browsing the forums and suddenly an image of that Elegy of Emptiness statue flashed for a brief second on-screen. I thought, "that's 2spoopy, maybe I should make a thread about it" and then everyone ganged up on me saying I was just bullshitting and demanding proof. I left the forums not too soon after, amazed at how some people take creepypasta so seriously.
