Re: The Coleslaw Smithey Thread

Yea, but I think it more is paying for your own meal vs both meals when going. I would, I just hope he lets me pick Hill Country as the restaurant, (I wanted to go there since its a southern bbq restaurant in NYC, but I think Cole may kill me)

As I recall you live in NYC...

Re: The Coleslaw Smithey Thread

I have a few friends who live there, and stay at my friends place who is 45 minutes north of NYC, so I know some of the non touristy restaurants in Manhattan, sure they are cheaper but you will get a decent meal. I live about 45 minutes away from Toronto.

My guess is that Coleslaw works at some low-medium income job for his money but he has such a big ego that he would never admit this to anyone since it would be confirming that his critic "job" is a bust and that he's not popular or famous. It makes me wonder if he met his gf/wife/sex partner/whatever the hell she is to him through whatever job he works for?

After some research I've learned that Coleslaw's current wife is a general manager of a bar that specializes in craft beer....

Wow, so I wonder which bar he takes you to if you win his eBay auction? It's even more self-serving than we thought.

They're also probably not planning to have kids, another little difference.

It's been speculated a while back that possibly (and hopefully) Chris and Coleslaw are sterile, Chris for sure....

What? I've heard nothing about Chris being sterile "for sure."

If anything he's probably quite fertile considering he recycled for so long.

Coleslaw is 50 and his new wife is 45. So there's not as an extreme age difference as with Borb.

I keep forgetting how goddamn old Cole is. I keep associating him with Chris, who's just 11 years older than me, and forgetting how late in life Borb had him.

Re: The Coleslaw Smithey Thread

Anyone notice that John Kyle has started littering his Coleslaw video with adverts and links for his website? Trying to ride on the back on internet infamy perhaps?

Anyone notice topcat spammed the same shitpost across different threads?

TopCat isn't getting an invitation to the cat party, that's for sure.

I checked his posts. Unless stuff got deleted, he only posted that twice, both in threads related to the subject at hand (one for Coleslaw Cole Baby in particular and one for the video itself).

Re: The Coleslaw Smithey Thread

All you people who thought Cole wasn't a proper A-list critic, how do you explain this?

Re: The Coleslaw Smithey Thread

Wow. If I looked at that picture before I would've said there's no way you could possibly intensify the probable collective smugness of the subjects, but goddammit if you didn't nail it.

I've been reading Cole's reviews most of the afternoon. And holy crow, that Saving Private Ryan review.

.<<<< Here's the point

>and here's Cole.

Also, sending troops straight into Berlin instead of France? I'm glad that Cole didn't choose to become a tactician.

Lol, Coles knowledge on world war 2 is high school level. I bet he would say things like that:

"What are all those german troops doing in the east? The greatest threat is the US Army."
"Why didnt the US Navy invade Japan first instead of conquering all these small islands?"
"They should have invaded France through Italy it would have been very easy."

He blows all credibility out of him of being Intellectual and one of its hallmark is not to talk about things you dont know
about. ( far too many do that)

I'm a bit of a history nut and it irritates the hell out of me that so many people seem to think that World War II pretty much involved only Pearl Harbor, D-Day, and Hiroshima. I once heard somebody right out deny that US troops were ever in North Africa.

I also re-read Cole's Toy Story 3 review today. God, it was awful. It looks like he never bothered to revise the piece after he hammered out an initial draft. It certainly wasn't professional quality.

So essentially Coles has following traits similiar to Chris.

Bigger-than-life ego
Ignorance
Lazyness in some aspects
Poor knowledge of economics and history
Poor writing skills

Correct me if i forget one or one was wrong.
