I don't know if this is a "feels" moment but seeing the old postcard shows that Cole was desperate for his mother's affection/ approval. We know very little about how she was as a mother to him, no doubt that she was abusive and pawned him off the minute she met another man.

Has Chris ever mentioned anything about the one time he went to California to visit Cole?

Why is there a thread from the motherfucker brother as if one day he would come and tell us something? , he did the smartest thing, he separated himself from that family.
I agree with you, but Cole would probably be one of the best sources of information about Chris' childhood and adolescence, as well as about Barb (not so much about Bob). He might not be the most reliable of narrators, but any information he has would be much appreciated as we know almost nothing about Chris before the mid-2000s.

Wait wait wait wait, I just noticed something 46 Branchland Ct, Cole lived there with Bob, Barb and Chris for a period of time did the Chandlers move at all to another address on the same street?

He lived there so clearly knew the address and 46 is a lot different than 14.

According to the CWCKi:
The original number of the house was 46 Branchland Court - this is the number given in A Week With Christian Chandler (2000) and Cole Smithey's 1994 postcard to Barbara. It was changed to 14 sometime after 2000.

Is it confirmed that Bob abused cole like he says in his emails? Because Bob doesn’t seem like the person to hit other peoples kids. Also I remember hearing that cole was upset when Bob died, is this true?

I think the allegations of abuse were aimed towards Barb and a partner she had before she met Bob, when Cole was much younger. Cole would have been much older when Barb married Bob and I'm not even sure he lived with them, and if he did it wouldn't have been for very long. Cole hated Bob more for political and personality reasons. I'm sure they didn't get along well, but I doubt Bob was ever physically abusive towards Cole, and Cole would have been old enough and physically mature enough to defend himself by that time.

I'd imagine being abused by your mother only to see the next generation coddled way past his own expiration date would seriously fuck with a guy.

we´ll never know, I think Cole lived a little in the Chandler house before escaping, we really don´t have any idea if Cole hated Bob for other reasons, there´s actually a lot of details that we don´t know
weens and telephone trolls should concentrate in those little stories instead of doing bad jokes and insult a lonely old guy

I hope Bob fucked him up his gay hipster butthole.

Cole propably was sassy and Bob called him a little punk and never-do-well and told him to get a job like a real man and not watch kid's movies.

Young Cole was a punk rocker so he probably called Bob a Nazi ten times a day. Dead Kennedys and Reagan Youth are to blame.

Cole Smithey is an assmad hipster retard. He wants to look all urban but he is a hick spawned by a white trash town bicycle whore who spawned a motherfucker, his half-brother, who raped her. That's what he is. He wants you to admire his sophistication, but he's one step removed from pure white trash.

And he'll be living in the motherfucker's shadow for the rest of his life.
