What bothers me is taht the irony is completely lost and the show lost any and all charm and originality.

Weirdly enough, the moment I hate the most is the series is when A-train talks about how that kid looked at him after he saved MM and how it made him feel like a real hero.

Like that was obvious in the scene no need to have the character literally spell it for us.

That's just one example of how stupid the writers think the audience is, among MANY.

All this does is make me love Homelander more.
Eric Kripke and friends really fucked up in making the two best and intriguing characters by far either antihero’s or villains (Butcher and Homelander), so it really doesn’t matter when they do subtle as a brick to the teeth stuff like this.

Homelander is a fantastic character, they’ve humanized him and shown where he comes from and what formed him so he’s not just a cackling bad guy.
It would probably be a lot easier to make someone an unsympathetic villain if his extensive childhood abuse and neglect wasn’t elaborated on multiple times, but they did it.

Jack Quaid is about the most useless and sniveling hero ever, so enough said there.

But sure.
Homelander=patriotism and strength= Trump bad.
This new season is going to be the worst by far
 
i want to see butcher kill everyone who has more than 30 minutes of screen time and leave with ryan
butcher is the only thing that moved the plot along in the last thirty minutes of the final episode
The end. I can forget about the wasted potential :(

He just looks like a fag, he truely lucked out that those roles are in high demand for white dudes, if hollywood was as cool as it was in the 1980s he'd be the bully's sidekick who gets fucked with in comedy films. he blows. him being a fan of RLM reminds me of Max Landis and they both have similar looks and blatant "this guy is a serial rapist and loser" physiognomy
 
Homelander is not only bulletproof like Trump, he's also not above dirtying his hands in the gangster kitchen. Big shoes to fill.

Am I supposed to be offended that Homelander had "Work at McDonald's" in his bucket list or something? Are quarter pounder burgers "A serious threat to our Democracy™️" now, too? How is this supposed to be a dig a Trump? Am I supposed to laugh?!

And this is the official The Boys Twitter account. I mean, I don't expect them to call up Anthony Starr and have him put on the costume for one joke post on Twitter, but come the fuck on, I would've expected more than this.

With the level of TDS and FuckYouDadism in the writers, even if Trump loses, the next season will just be more TDS bullshit in the guise of entertainment.
