I never watched Gen V, but I'm surprised this scene of two guards being mind controlled to get sodomized by a flashlight didn't get any notable controversy.
Her character is portrayed as a murderer and rapist. She does it to make herself laugh. It's like when Homelander crushed that guy's head in while he was making out with Stormfront. It was dark comedy but it was there to show how messed up Homelander was mentally. Also the security guards she has rape each other are torturing children who were the products of illegal drug experiments. She hates them. Like Homelander torturing the scientists that he grew up with in the Vought laboratory.

The Tek Knight stuff with Hughie is literally there because the writers found it funny and didn't really care about the scene beyond making them laugh. Hence why that entire episode is filled with plot holes and leaps in logic. Tek Knight should have known it was not Webweaver instantly. Homelander should have been curious as to where Sage, A-Train, Tek Knight, and Firecracker just disappeared to. Homelander also should have heard Sage get shot in the head and immediately started flying all over the surrounding areas looking for the person who put a bullet in her head. Nueman should have been panicking that Sage took a gunshot to the head and Tek Knight vanished and has no security for his house and likely left with her security team.

Wasn't Love Sausage a commie in the comics? For all the shows safe edgy leftism it's telling that they aren't comfortable having a tankie be a character in their show about fighting superhero Hitler.

Didn't Kimiko say she only saw Frenchie as a brother just last season? What was the fucking point of setting up an arc where Frenchie feels guilty (for being gay), and turns himself in for murder, only to get sprung from jail an episode later, off screen. Hughie gives a speech about forgiveness and that's enough? "Hon Hon, I guezz it wazant so bad I killed zat guys family anyway. Mon ami give me your zidewayz puzzay!"

To be fair, if your only intimacy with a dude is in suit AND engaging in degenerate type shit, I don't think you can do the usual "where's your mole, my beloved?" type shit as a big reveal. Granted, the voice was a giveaway but again. He could be cooming out of his mind, poorly visualized/directed.

It's actually weird in a way too, you'd think the commie/tankie faggots that are writing this would take a ripe opportunity to indirectly say that commies have big dicks. I'm surprised they didn't take that shot.

That would mean ascribing positive attributes to a penis when the show is written by men ashamed of having one.

Late to the party with the new episode, but, seeing Erin Moriarty in the dual role is making me suspect that the issues with Starlight are almost entirely due to the writers

There are two reasons as to why there's no controversy surrounding the scene.
  1. No one gives a fuck about Gen V
  2. Omg the actress is hawt so it's a totes slay feminist moment against the corpo neo-nazis

Why did starlight just leave Hughie to rot? I thought she has POWAR against discount magneto, or are Gen V super supes or something?

Tek knight is obsessed with holes. Tek Knight is supposed to be a super detective. Webweaver has his suit cut out specifically for his web hole. His web hole is probably specifically why Tek knight is interested in him in the first place. Tek Knight is literally staring at Hughie's ass for the cake farting scene. There is no way that Tek Knight is not hungrily searching for that hole and noticing that it isn't there.

It was a liberal fag storyline of having their cake and eating it too. They don't have a fag character anymore with Maeve being gone so their DEI scores were getting low. To offset this they just gave Frenchie a gay storyline so that the DEI company that advises this show would give them high scores and they can qualify for tax breaks and other government incentives. Then they ended that plot as quickly as possible and went back to the original plot which was obviously Frenchie and Kimiko being together again.

Cindy is not from Gen V. She's the mentally ill superhero that killed all of the guards at Stormfront's experimental facility that Lamplighter was supposed to be guarding. She just walks from the facility and joins Homelander's army off camera some time between season two and four. She's yet another superhero with no backstory other than having a transgender freak playing the character.

Starlight leaving Hughie makes no sense. She could just grab him and fly away. It's just poor writing. But Hughie wears the best plot armor so Vought will literally not do anything to him at all. Likely none of the Boys will ever be in danger from Vought because of how protected the writers are of them.

I was exposed to an episode of the fourth season of this show, and it's really strange to watch. It's like they're dying to address Current Events(tm) but only to serve you up a bizarro world version where everything is the opposite to how it was when you saw it on news / twitter videos / with your eyes. A pedophile dies in a self-defense slaying after attacking a teen, but in the Boys bizarro world, it wasn't self-defense at all and the pedophile claims are false. In bizarro world, white people are rioting violently in the streets and black people are facepalming and trying to keep things calm.

They've exhausted the original storylines completely and are obviously just bumbling around grasping for loose threads of drama. What a way for a show to go out.

Cindy's from season 2, but the two from Gen V are both fairly strong, Cate is a strong psychic with low durability, Sam has super high stats but no training or experience.

Yeah Starlight is an issue of Kripke playing favorites and treating Starlight as his personal mouthpiece ever since Season 3. She was actually fine in the first two seasons.

Because Hughie is toxic masculinity personified apparently

It's great how you can tell they had absolutely no idea what to do with Frenchie this season. Turns himself into jail for murder and then the next episode just gets one line saying "oh yeah, Mallory got me out" and that was that.

It was kind of cool when he was able to show up and be all like "sure, you're a genius scientist, but I'm the expert at improvising when I don't have access to laboratory grade equipment." But there was no real payoff to that.
