Hughie is gonna fucking kill himself at the end of the season, his character just can't catch a fucking break. I was really hoping Ryan was going to announce that Homelander diddled him during the puppet show.

I guarantee you that Sage is going to join The Boys and that was her plan all along because she knew Homelander would listen to her and she knew that she could easily manipulate the rest of the 7. Fucking The Deep and Black Noir, allowing A-Train to leak info (which she admits), and at the same time having multiple high level Homelander collaborators killed (like Tek Knight, and the news anchor guy), bringing Firecracker in to be a mouthpiece and having her in a situation way out of her depth so it will eventually collapse, Sage generally made everything worse by the time she left, it was all apart of her genius plan. The notebook she leaves is just more shit that will make them lose in the end because she's the smartest black person in the world so she of course has been playing 4D chess the whole time. She's gonna say something to the effect of "Do you think I really would have sided with those racist white muthfuckas?" or some soapbox about how they underestimated her because she was black and/or a woman, so Reddit can collectively cream their jeans.

I really hope A-Train doesn't get a good ending like Maeve. Comparatively he did way worse shit than her and it would be fitting for him to at least have either an ironic death, like ODing on Compound V, or have some kind of self sacrifice moment to redeem himself like they tricked us with Maeve having. I was really hoping the fight with The Deep would have killed one or both of them, they're getting too comfortable with giving characters plot armor so the stakes have evaporated.

I would love to see Hughie kill A-Train out of pure hatred for what his actions made Hughie's life spiral into, have him take out all the frustration he obviously has with the whole situation. You could tell how painful it was for Hughie to tell A-Train they were even, but he had to for the sake of his dad. I have a theory that Hughie secretly hates all Supes with the exception of the ones he's friends with, and his no problem killing someone if he has to, he just keeps it suppressed out of fear of becoming just like Butcher.

that is all my thoughts on that episode as if anyone cares

They’re going to have a scene where Boglight screams at Hughie for not realizing it wasn’t her, saying he should have known when the imposter put on the costume and told him he was right about it but his ToXiC mAsCuLiNiTy didn’t let him even consider it.

Ever since Starlight openly joined the boys, she has gradually become unlikeable the past two seasons and this season is probably the worst outing. I won’t be surprised it it goes this direction given Kripke treats her as an angel that can do no wrong.

Doubt it but hope Butcher can go through with the superhero genocide, All for a version of the comic ending except he fully wins

This is an actual plothole imo, how the fuck did homelander just fire her instead of literally splitting her half like he's done with literally every single other person who has ever pissed him off in the history of the entire show?
Homelander's thing is that he can't bring himself to kill people that he is still trying to earn the respect of. Which is the only reason why Butcher and Stan Edgar weren't unceremoniously lasered to death in season 1. It's one of those character flaws that just kind of has to be there for the show to work. It's still kind of dumb, but I think there is plot justification for it.

A better written show could have some sort of double bluff where Hughie realised Annie is a shapeshifter because she didn't know something the real Annie would know like that Annie had tried to throw out the costume or something. But decided to play along in order to lure his enemy into a trap. That's still kind of dumb, but I'm guessing not as dumb as whatever is going to happen next episode.

Zach Snyder's Watchmen adaptation is (the full cut with the black freighter) about as close you can get to a perfect live action watchmen adaptation as physically possible.

The only criticism of it is that 3 and a half hours weren't enough time, but even then he managed to pull across 90% of the plot and story intact. When it comes to faithful book -> movie adaptations its second probably to only lord of the rings.

People shitting on the Watchmen adaptation was always so bizarre to me. I read the comics and i fail to see how someone could have adapted it more faithfully.

Because the people who write this shit wouldn't want that. The same way they didn't want Maeve to die to Soldier Boy even though it would've been a logical conclusion to her story arc, especially since the actress was leaving.

The idiot writer even knew that's how Maeve's story was supposed to end but he didn't want to upset social media because of the "bury your gays" meme so he gave her a bullshit happy ending instead.

Okay, but then what about stillwell? Why did she deserve to die, but vogelbaum deserved to live when they were both guilty of the same thing?

Homelanders entire thing has been "NO MORE LIES" which he says repeteadly. He killed black noir for lying by omission which he has been praising since season one and was clearly the most competent and efficient person on the team except for homelander himself.

Stan Edgar wasn't killed because homelander wasn't in a position to take over vought yet and killing edgar at that point wouldn't have helped.

As for butcher, I don't think homelander respects him at all, I think the exact opposite, that he likes to fuck with him, considering he fucked his wife then took him to see the cuckspawn just to rub it in.

Sage surviving seems 100% arbitrary no matter which way you look at it, and sage being stupid enough to not understand what she did would piss off homelander is even more retarded.

So did homelander have a lactation fetish in the comic? Or is this weird shit introduced in the prime show?

Mother's Milk (hence his name) still breastfeeds from his mother in the comics. The lactation fetish has been in dozens of shows and movies so it is nothing new. The Netflix show Lilyhammer had a guy who was addicted to lactation fetish pornography and his wife beats him to death over it. Tony Soprano has a dream where he is a baby and that hot Italian woman is breastfeeding him.

I mean Homelander specifically.

You can tell Starlight is the shapeshifter because she's not being an unreasonable cunt, abd Hughie gets ro have normal sex on camera.

Unironically, the fact that Hughie got to just have a normal bone with the camera showing it made it obvious. Because the show is so gay, and so seething that it only ever shows faggot sex or shock sex at this point.

Not to mention, showing a woman's ass on screen.

I hate to sound like a coomer, but I hate how the sexual stuff that is more explicit is on the male side, be equal damn it, unless Kripke wants to tell us the show is targeted towards gay men and straight women.

It’s some sort of new missive at Hymiewood. Can’t have you male-gazing, chud. Show the most saggy, unattractive or fat women which you must be 100% accepting of, while the men are objectified male models. Just look at that episode of the Fallout show with that perverse cult in Vault 4. I’m noticing this more & more in Western media.

I just realized; is this storyline supposed to be a reference to that New Teen Titans' arc where Starfire gets kidnapped and replaced by a shapeshifter, who then rapes Nightwing, and ends with a sudden marriage proposal after Nightwing gets treated like an uncaring cheater for not realizing that the shapeshifter wasn't the real deal?

You're giving these writers FAR too much credit...

Holy fucking shit. Were these scripts written three years ago?

If they dropped “the message” and showed a pair of tits occasionally then it would be a barely passable series, but this has truly jumped the shark.

It’s utterly fucking retarded. It’s too busy trying to dunk on chuds from years ago to present a decent and coherent story.

Either this was written three years ago and barely touched up or the writers are so out of touch they think going full Reddit will be stopping people who will never vote for Trump from voting for Trump will save democracy and worth sinking the quality of their project.

Hit me with the MATI stickers but the sooner these WEF whores are mincrafted out of entertainment, in Minecraft, the better.

Bring on the economic crash and we just harvest these fuckers for meat.

Starlight is when a radio station slots in a female exec to keep the edgy hosts in check.

Every cool or shocking twist in season one or the comic would cause her to moral fag endlessly.
