He was. He was the only supe that comic Billy butcher felt bad for. This felt a tad gratuitous. Also it's weird they're making tek-knight such an asshole, he was IIRC one of the legitimately more heroic people in the comics if memory serves
A lot of it feels as if they’re intentionally making “good” characters worse or disgusting. You can sense Seth Rogans gross humor in everythingThis felt a tad gratuitous. A.) As if that's gonna stop anyone who wanted to claim her. They have Stormfront be played by a Jewish actress because it's supposed to be a le epic own to da chuds. It's supposed to be a permanent-gotcha, "you can't claim this character she's played by a JEWISH WOMAN! Checkmate!" despite the fact they picked the most White-passing New York Jew out there lmao.
Jewish writer probably gets all hot and bothered by the thought of an SS girl stepping on him.Kinda weird how all the designated Nazi characters are attractive women. Especially since Stormfront was a man in the comic that was genderswapped for the show.
Is this the writer venting his anger on women who wouldn't date him or something?
Considering the type of shit that "Male Feminists" love to do, it shouldn't be surprising. Or alternatively:Kinda weird how all the designated Nazi characters are attractive women. Especially since Stormfront was a man in the comic that was genderswapped for the show.
Is this the writer venting his anger on women who wouldn't date him or something?
This again shouldn't be surprising as death camp prisoner X attractive female SS officer porn was apparently really popular in 80's Israel.Jewish writer probably gets all hot and bothered by the thought of an SS girl stepping on him.
Could be, the writer is likely Jewish so maybe it’s a nazi fetish thing? Is this the writer venting his anger on women who wouldn't date him or something?

What's the appeal?
We got that in Season 1. Then they suddenly stopped doing it after the dude who helped write Breaking Bad left, and the show got dominated by the guy who wrote Supernatural. That's the appeal that lured in the audience. But as you can see in this thread, we got non of that.
- The shows main premise was about "normal" people killing superheroes. The "superheroes" are a bunch of degenerate celebrities, so the appeal was to see them get killed off in creative and brutal ways. If you hate cape shit, it had the potential to be anti-cape shit.
- The "superheroes" and their associations are a representation of modern celebrities, corporations and politicians etc, so "the boys" are pretty much a representation of a covert militia group trying to just kill them off (mostly for revenge). I don't need to elaborate on this before going full FED post on why this could in theory have a certain appeal for some people.
The difference is, the comics had the balls to stay edgy and go balls-to-the-wall with the degenerate superheroes and the corporation they represent, whereas the show decided that Trump fans are the world's greatest villains and they should be demonized; that whole plot of Vought being the main bad guy just falls by the wayside as the James Stillwell stand-in Stan Edgar is knocked off his high perch and replaced by a mentally unstable Homelander who couldn't run a corporation even if his life depended on it. Dude cracks down on all dissent, then he's pissed when nobody questions him after he tells one superhero to blow another. At the very least, James Stillwell had a fall guy, or in this case, girl, just in case everything went tits-up, and he had someone to blame.Because for reason nr. 2. the show got cucked (for obvious reasons) and inserted with lefty politics instead that made the whole plot retarded because it tries to be tied-in with real politics while trying to be "edgy" in this scenario, so the whole show is the cognitive dissonance phenomena in video format.
Anyone over the age of 20 who has actually seen the darker parts of the internet won't be amused by that shit. They've seen it done someplace else. And most folks just don't really care for it.The only edgy stuff in the show is the gore and the porn content for shock value. That's it, nothing more.
The only difference is that Marvel/DC capeshit had the balls to kill off major characters. Zack Snyder killed off Zod and Superman. A lot of guys in the MCU bought the farm when they got Thanos-snapped. Meanwhile, ever since the first season, neither the Boys nor the major villains have suffered any casualty save for Stormfront and maybe Butcher's wife. Perhaps you could count Black Noir and Soldier Boy, but the latter was just put back in stasis, and the former was replaced post-haste.Due the shows popularity (or because it's Amazon making the show...) it went full cape shit as well. No superheroes of significance actually dies off since they all got Disney™ level of plot armor, so the show is what it was supposed to parodize: just another Marvel/DC cape shit. It also got a lot of jewish shit as well, which explains how everything went wrong.
is this true? the supernatural guy was always the showrunner from the season 1 pilot. We got that in Season 1. Then they suddenly stopped doing it after the dude who helped write Breaking Bad got replaced by the guy who wrote Supernatural.
George Mastras was the consulting producer for the first season of The Boys. After that, he left, and there was no one left to tard wrangle Eric Kripke from turning the show into an anti-Trump screed.is this true? the supernatural guy was always the showrunner from the season 1 pilot.
The show finally came full circle with the comic but in vastly different ways...It felt like it was written and directed by an edgy 14 year old.
This really nails why the episode was so awful. Safe-edgy describes it perfectly. Tickling, shots of mens' asses, gimp costumes, fart fetish stuff... come on. It was all just puerile.I'll skip over the cake scene. It's not funny, it's not shocking, it's just nasty and unfunny. Actually no, I won't skip it, since all of the "BDSM" scenes are a special sort of safe-edgy. Farting in a cake while the dom erotically asphyxiates himself, the female dom touches herself while tickling someone and yelling out obscene shit? Show, don't tell. Just fucking pick up one of the fucking strapons in the room and pound Hughie to death. But no, we get safe-edgy-BDSM. In the comics, Hughie gets his ass thumbed by Black Noir instead. Sure, it was random, but it was way more shocking than whatever this is.
This was comical because Homelander gave a rousing speech, the billionaires raised practical concerns about how a takeover would work, he stammers like an idiot, then Victoria gives another rousing speech answering none of their practical questions and this time they clap like trained seals.Homelander fumbles the ball with the politicians, since the smartest woman on earth is out of order at the moment, but thankfully girlboss Vicky Neumann is there to fix everything. She even mentions licking AOC's ass, even though everyone knows she's the AOC stand-in. So there's Vicky and AOC and they coexist in the same universe? But why?
