Derek Chauvin as a Superhero named Captain Knee curb-stomped that niggo so hard that half of Minneapolis (conveniently; only the parts where all the Somalis live) collapses in a brutal earthquake and the rest is fenced off would be really kino as a throwaway background line but the show is made by fags so obviously that wouldn't happen lol
They had a racist cop superhero who lasted a few episodes in Blue Hawk. He curb stomped someone so hard that it broke the sidewalk. He also screamed "supe lives matter" in the faces of the BLM rioters. Then threw a few of them into a wall and paralyzed A-Train's brother. They also tried to make Stormfront racist but failed as well as she never says 'nigger' but says 'black bastards'. As if a 100-year-old high ranking Nazi from the actual German 1940s would be afraid of calling people niggers to their faces when she has the most pure dose of Compound V ever given to someone. All of her dialog sounds like a jew pretending to White (just like the actress).

The writers simply cannot commit to making a character actually racist or hating fags or troons or some other protected class. These writers would never be able to write characters for stuff like The Sopranos or The Shield.

How obvious is Starlight's plastic surgery addiction? Don't care about the show but seeing her look like a ghoul now is pretty funny.
Almost literally every time her face is on screen I have to pause in just pure shock. She's legitimately ghoulish and it's obvious to everyone, it's not just her face but she's gotten extremely skinny too. Truly in awe at how bad she looks and it's a shame considering how cute she was in the beginning.

This show just a horrendous job making us care about ANY of the "good guys". Even Butcher has lost his charm. The writers also literally have no idea what to do with the shows, as evidenced by the fucking "main" characters doing basically nothing. All of the villains get the most developments and story points, meanwhile frenchie is getting fucked up the ass, kimiko is dealing with stuff that's completely irrelevant to anything besides her, hughie is dealing with his mom and dad, they didn't even try to give MM anything to do. Butcher and Starlight are the only people doing anything with the plot and Starlight herself is just...not a good or charismatic character, there is absolutely no reason to give any shit about her beliefs or her character. Despite her character meant to be a leader for a large group of people in opposition of homelander she doesn't feel like she really cares or has strong beliefs about anything or is really even trying, her involvement is purely reactive to what the other people are doing.

It's just crazy to me how literally every "villain" character is more fleshed out, more charismatic, and better acting than any of the main "good" guys but we're unironically meant to not like them? What are they fucking doing man. I just don't know how that happens, even the magical smartest negress ever is a more compelling character to me and we've literally only seen her for like 3 episodes.

And yet try as he might, the people that Eric Kripke wants us to despise are the ones that people fall in love with. Homelander, Soldier Boy, Stan Edgar, they held up the show. They made Homelander into an insane Super-Trump, and yet people tune in to the show just to see him. They made Soldier Boy the poster child for toxic masculinity, and yet he's the most memorable character from Season 3. Stan Edgar personified the soulless, Machiavellian capitalism of a company like Vought, yet his scenes were always a treat to watch, especially with the scenes where he put Homelander down or discussed the politics and situation with Vought and other people.

It's kind of like how GRRM, being the leftist hippie twat that he is, wrote Tywin Lannister to be a petty, backstabbing, rich boy shitheel in the ASOIAF books, yet Tywin is the best character in the Game of Thrones show, to the point where fans admired and loved him. The quality of the show died with him.

Kripke will have to save Homelander's death for S5's end. Otherwise, if he tries to do the show without Homelander, it just won't have the same charm anymore.
Deep is kinda cool at times too due to shitposting purposes. Which says a lot about the supposed "likeable" & "good" ones of the show.

She won't even mind Blacks much, she's not some skinhead, but a pure Nazi, she has probably seen an Afro German, & by proxy Afro Nazi or two in her time.

What she should hate is kikes, followed by fags, dykes, & troons. Except this is written by a lefty kike, & she is played by one pretending to be White, & is made in an industry full of them, so you can't get that.

Don't forget MM calling Soldier Boy a racist piece of shit, despite Soldier Boy never doing anything even mildly racially insensitive.

The Germans iirc never really had an equivalent for the n-word (there's kanake but that's a post-war term and by that time Stormfront 'became American') so I could understand why Stormfront never said it.

But it's fucking criminal that Soldier Boy, a guy raised in 1920s America never even uttered it once or shown any dismissive looks at anyone more darker than a wop. The most 'chuddy' we ever seen of him is looking weirdly at a gay couple in public (didn't even look disgusted, just like "huh? oh okay") and maybe saying some """sexist""" stuff that wouldn't even offend Android Raptor or any of the Man-Hate posters.

Even then that's all undermined by the fact that Soldier Boy is a sex pest who founded Herogasm... Well, they never stated there was any minors there. Which makes this arguably one of the most unrealistic things in the show. Let's be honest Herogasm would basically be Superhero Epstein Island, not a place for le quirky consenting adult sex.

The way I see it, trying to make it just like the 2020s makes no sense. If superheroes were a real thing, not only would that cause a culture shift, like how Dr. Manhattan's existence jumpstarted a scientific and cultural revolution in the Watchmen world, but there's no way in Hell Uncle Sam would allow private entities to wield Supes that can be as threatening as a nuke. They'd nationalize that shit and keep the formula for Compound V locked up in the Pentagon or some secret base, and only companies who have ties to the Feds could use it. Vought perhaps would still operate as it would, but they'd hardly be the only company, since the Feds would also have other companies around that they can use to also make superheroes or super-serums.

Someone like Homelander won't be wasted fighting criminals, but rather, fighting wars. They'd send his ass to Iraq or Afghanistan, and more than likely, the Boys version of America would win those wars just like Watchmen America won Vietnam thanks to Dr. Manhattan. Someone like Homelander flying around like an angel of death vaporizing enemies with his heat vision and disemboweling terrorists while tanking bullets to the face would cause the enemy to have a morale breakdown. Especially if they're superstitious; such a being attacking their forces, tanking all they can throw at him, and crushing them severely would cause them to believe that either God has abandoned them, or has sent that being to punish them. Homelander would be to these terrorists what Attila was to the Ancient Romans, the Scourge of God that has come to punish the sinners. You might even see these radical jihadists defect to Yankee Christianity because Vought programmed Homelander to appeal to American Christians and he's one of them on paper.

Iraq and Afghanistan would become American protectorates a la Puerto Rico, North Korea and Iran would flatline, while Russia and China would be experimenting on their own citizens to try and create their own supermen. And ideally, the Americans won't stop at just creating one Homelander or Soldier Boy; they'd have clones of those heroes waiting around like a Seal Team. If, by some joke of fate, the enemy manages to kill the hero, the Feds would just have another one take said hero's place and pretend like the hero never died.

Maybe they're also supes. I can imagine an alternate world where Supes can be made through serums, and some figures we know now could be made into Supes.

Agreed. Unless Pewdiepie and Kanye took V as kids too, I don't think they'd be able to stay relevant.

It's the same problem Alan Moore failed to solve with Watchmen. The USA has a superman with godlike powers of matter manipulation, teleportation, multiplication, he could just enter the USSR incognito, teleport all their nukes into space, then the Yanks could invade and take control without much of an issue. But for some reason they're still afraid of total nuclear apocalypse.

Every time they try to make superheroes fit in the real world, it doesn't work, because realistically, a superhero-infused world would not be the same as ours. Not only would the culture not be the same, but law enforcement, military, and the general feel of society would be different.

The comic addresses a lot of the stuff you talk about in this post plus the show DOES address some additional stuff:

1. Voight is super fucking corrupt and basically is Evil-Corp incarnated. It's stated that they have insane amount of power to basically buy and sell Congress five times over PLUS have been working on the long game to get one of their own (Vic the Veep, the comic version of Victoria) into the White House as President.

They have enough power, politically, that they never face any consequences for their military weapons malfunctioning in the middle of battle or their military vehicles being literal death traps (once case in particular, that the comic mentions, is that the helicopters they sold to the army during Vietnam were so fucked up that they were literal death traps due to the ejector seat not working in them). Let along the crap that their super heroes do carnage-wise. It's also why they manage to keep the government off their backs about seizing V for themselves or nationalizing the company and handing out the formula to rival companies to maximize creating super heroes for the army: which leads to.....

2. the fact that a major part of The Boys is Voight WANTS to get super heroes in the military and part of the reason for their quest to put Vic the Veep into the Presidency, is to have Vic do so. In the show, they fuck up the storyline by way of Homelander getting this done but in the comic, the military successfully cockblocks having super heroes in the military. This also ties into why there are no super cops and shit, because cops, first responders, and firefighters, and the military in general have threatened to go on strike ala the Police Strike in the backstory of Watchmen, if Voight or local/national government started replacing regular people in these jobs with super powered beings.

3. Which in turn leads to the fact that Voight EXPLICITLY keeps their super heroes dumb, useless, docile, and undertrained to keep them under their thumb. 99% super-heroes in The Boys are fake heroes who do everything but fight crime and the few that DO get to do shit, are 100% strictly limited to first responder shit (and even that's basic bitch training they get) and even then, only in instances of extreme danger are they deployed. Voight spoils their super powered manchildren with money, liquor, hookers, etc to keep them from getting ideas and even then, will tolerate a shockingly high amount of perversion and depravity before they'll even think about killing a super-hero for line stepping. It's shown, with the plot oint about what happened when capes were used in WW2 (getting killed and a lot of innocent soldiers killed/placed in POW camps in WW2, as was the case of one particular character in the comic, who spent all of WW2 in a particular brutal Nazi POW camp because, first mission in Europe after arriving there as an 18 year old draftee, Voight forced his squad to take on a super-hero member for publicity purposes and the cape, within hours of being put in the group, retardedly did something that gave away the squad's position, resulting in the guy spending about 3-4 years being tortured and brutalized in said Nazi POW camp and then being forced, when he was let go when the war ended, into staying 100% silent about how Voight's cape fucked up lest he get shot in the head and buried in an unmarked grave near the prison camp and his family never being alerted to the fact that their son was alive after all.

As for culture shit, there is the fact that The Boys is a world forever obsessed with capeshit super-heroes. And there is a lot of stuff where, in the comics and TV show, they explore the idea that if you are pretty and have basic bitch talent, Voight will fund your non-cape dreams so long as you do it for a Voight subsidiary.

Case in point, Soldier Boy and Starlight both had exs who had singing careers. Black Noir was an actor who had enough major credits to his name and popularity, that he was seriously in the running for the lead in Beverly Hills Cops. Tek Knight, in the TV show, has his own Dateline TV crime documentary series, and the entire "Capes For Christ" thing. The implication being, that super-hero culture is like teenybopper culture and most are flash in the pan shit for young kids and 20-something manchildren and while popular, only a handful IE the Seven, have any real staying power in the world of pop culture.

You think she does this every day?

"And now I'm getting blamed for your fucking murder." You are apart of the team, you okay'd this operation fully knowing that a violent and fatal confrontation is fully possible; yes, you share the responsibility for Ezikel's death even if it was another team member who killed him.

Starlight is somehow not in prison after attempting to murder Firecracker on live TV.

I'm seriously tired of the Vought MCU parody segments.

"There's a virus that kills supes." And nobody has any questions about this. Like, a virus is both dangerous and a weapon that can so easily backfire if you're not careful.

Everyone goes to the farm where the virus is stored, see that everything's go wrong, and none of the supes there seemed the slightest bit concerned that the supe killing virus might be in the area uncontained.

"Homelander is impossible to control, all you've done is put yourself in danger." Then what the fuck have you been doing all these years, Stan?

Neuman reveals to everyone the shocking truth that she tried to make a deal with Butcher and he... Didn't go through with it.

"It's an absolute wonder to me that you've all managed to live this long." It's called plot armour, Stan.

"You can't lose control like that. I know about dual identities, Annie. You've been Starlight so long you probably don't even know who Annie is anymore." Starlight proceeds to lose her cool again and try to beat down Neuman. Annie fucking sucks.

It's hard to take Frenchie's guilt seriously when the only reason he cares about the family he murdered is because he ended up fucking the boy who survived.

Also, why is he worried about Kimiko hating him? He's already told about all the nasty shit he did in the past.

It feels like Starlight needles Butcher because he's the only person her self-righteous ass can actually morally grand stand over with being an obvious hypocrite.

Butcher kidnaps the scientist, and cuts off his leg to make people believe the scientist is dead, who made the virus so he can make more after all the virus vials got smashed. The music really wants this obvious move to be treated as a big, ominous villain moment.

They wouldn't even say or show Hitler when she was showing the photos of her with the Nazis. It was hilariously obvious.

MM > "You fucking killed my family"

SB > "Which one?"

Two things about this episode

The scene with Hughie's dad was alright.

I got scared for a minute when I saw that one of the neckbeards at the Vought convention looked like Rich Evans. Thought they got him to do a cameo.

Was there a more perfect music choice for the ending of the Truthcon episode? Having Hava Nagila play was almost too on the nose.

The Germans iirc never really had an equivalent for the n-word (there's kanake but that's a post-war term and by that time Stormfront 'became American') so I could understand why Stormfront never said it.
'Neger' was the general term, equivalent to negro. 'Kanake' means turk-roach, it's not used for blacks. The nazi term for nigger is simply 'Nigger'.
For example from 1935:
"Mit dem heutigen Tag spreche ich ein endgültiges Verbot des Niggerjazz für den gesamten Deutschen Rundfunk aus." ("As of today I announce a definitive ban on Nigger jazz for all of German Radio.").

One thing I noticed in this episode is MM's daughter not giving a fuck about Todd's death, I don't even think its been mentioned. If shes acting out and getting into fights at school wouldn't it be over losing the only father figure she had that actively participated in her life? Why is she joining the "culture war" on the anti-Homelander team when the first man to actually be a father to her threw her a Homelander themed birthday party? Everything about it was so baffling and absurd.

I mentioned I've only been watching YT clips of the show. I don't even know who Frenchie and MM are tbh. Wasn't Butcher like the main character of the comic? Weird they have him as a recurring side character on the Homelander show.
