Kripke can save his show if the final episode of the season is just an hour of violent gay sex.
Nah, fuck that. This show has enough degenerate sex. I just want a super-powered Butcher, Soldier Boy, and Homelander killing each other and tearing the city apart. Go full Dragon Ball Z/Man of Steel if they have to. Burn the kingdom of Vought to the ground and have the three most well-loved characters fighting over the ashes, destroying anything that gets in their way.

OK I'm just skimming the TV Tropes recap page for the latest episode since I didn't care to watch it.
>Among Firecracker's celebrity friends are Jon Voight and Kanye West.
That's fucking retarded. Voight is literally a Neocon Boomer and Kanye West is well... Kanye.
>In November 2023, Voight expressed disappointment in his daughter Angelina Jolie, criticizing her differing views on the Israel-Hamas war and accusing her of spreading misinformation. While Jolie called for a ceasefire, Voight defended Israel's right to protect its people and emphasized the conflict's significance in preserving the Holy Land and the history of the Jews.
Hmm, I'm pretty sure these two celebrities would have a really huge disagreement with each other over a really big topic...

And this is just from his Wikipedia page, I don't even know the actor much aside from now knowing he's the father of Angelina Jolie but it's pretty obvious even from a glance.

They really couldn't just namedrop Mel Gibson or something? I know Mel Gibson is so early 2000s, but then again even Kanye's nazi phase is two years out of date already and he's not even really a 'conservative' anymore now that he's back to making music again about doing drugs, hoes n shiet alongside literally doing porn. I'm also pretty sure he insulted Christianity recently too.

I stopped watching a couple episodes into season 1 when the fish-man guy was having his gills fingered. I thought it was cringe, superheroes seems even lamer to me when taken super duper seriously like "what if superman was real and he was a rapist" this shit is gay and more childish than standard capeshit fare. It may as well be a porn parody or something.

BigBunjeeees video on The Boys was good though. Glad I just watched that instead of wasting time with the actual show.

Wat.

You don't know Jon Voight? Of Runaway Train? Appearing in blockbusters like Mission Impossible, Heat, Deliverance, Enemy of the State among other films? Strangely defensive on Israel despite not being jewish? (I think they have tapes on him)

He's that guy with the car George Costanza sings about.

I'm aware he's an actor but like I didn't know he was that big of a deal, like being Angelina Jolie's dad or his 'political controversies' aka being an inoffensive neocon that makes his daughter seem more daring.

I haven't watched the new season but I legit can't remember anything from the first season being on the same level of annoying culture war stuff as that Starfire pedophile clip or "Critical Supe Thoery", I could be wrong because I haven't seen the first season in a while, the most I remember is stuff about Christianity which was mostly there to build up how much influence Vaught has in everything.

The concept behind Homelander was that he was mediocre man given the powers of a god
God I wish they'd kept Stillwell a man and done him like he was in the comics. He was legit one of the best characters in the comic. He points out to Homelander just how mediocre and disappointing he is and instead of killing Stillwell it drives Homelander fucking nuts because he knows Stillwell is right.

The first season was written by the guy behind Breaking Bad while the rest of the seasons got picked up by a Jew. Figure how that goes.

The man was tortured into insanity, people should be glad he's not actively worse.
He even says that even though it didn’t cause him real damage, he still felt all of the pain. Which is arguably much worse because he could be (and probably was) tortured nonstop in whatever ways they could come up with. He should be seen as a hero for not becoming an unhinged weapon of mass destruction fucking everything up the second he stepped outside.

Same. The sex scenes are so fucking stupid and gross you know Seth Rogan is jerking off behind the camera. The best scenes were Soldier Boy, Butcher, and Homelander trying to kill each other.

James Stillwell in the show is basically Stan Edgar. Different face and skin color, same ''seen-it-all'' corporate attitude and lack of respect towards Homelander.

In fact, it's amazing that Homelander didn't just go full Mewtwo or turn into a rebel like Magneto right after leaving the lab. He still worked for the system and tried to put in the work to be a hero, and if those spinoff cartoons are any indication, he genuinely tried being a good guy in the early days until that literally blew up in his face.

That was the best part of Season 3. Especially that fight at Herogasm where it was Butcher and Soldier Boy vs. Homelander.

To this day I can't understand why Butcher betrayed Soldier Boy. Butcher can just tell SB and Maeve to keep Homelander busy while he grabs Ryan. Knock the brat out using Temp V super-strength, then pass the brat off to MM, Starlight, and Hughie so they can raise the brat to be a proper hero. Then rejoin the fight against Homelander once SB and Maeve have tenderized him like hamburger meat to finish the job.

Then once Homelander is dead, Starlight can take control of Vought and the Seven, while SB ambushes Victoria with that chest-beam from afar, killing her. The Boys can gain control of Vought's corporate media empire, with Maeve and Starlight at the helm to change it for the better, while Soldier Boy becomes their man to hunt down any Supe that goes rogue or abuses their power.

To be fair, Mother's Milk being an anti-white bigot still eternally butt-hurt and bitter/resentful that his wife left him for a white man who LIKES super-heroes would have fucked up the plan regardless; he wanted Soldier Boy dead and his comments when he's bashing him (saying old white racist fucks like SB need to be put to death) indicates he would have gone rogue and killed Soldier Boy even before Soldier Boy's rant about how having affection and caring about his son Ryan made Homelander weak in SB's eye and basically queered the deal Soldier Boy and Butcher made and resulted in the plan going six ways sideways and granted Homelander custody of Ryan and the Boys back at square one.

Ideally, Butcher would drug MM's drink before the mission. By the time he wakes up, Homelander would be dead. Then afterwards, tell him to stand down or be let go.

The only good part of the latest episode was the fact that it introduced me to the existence of Fudgie the Whale cakes and now I need to know where to get one.
