I would say her acting career is over after the Boys.

Even tho she turned into the grim reaper, I still feel sympathy for her because of how much she cares for her cute little doggos. She made an absolutely terrible horrifying decision and made herself look like another soulless plastic Goblin but she is a caring person. Her face matched her personality back then, now she looks like a completely different person. Look at these 2 photos, the left one looks warm & friendly, the right one cold, arrogant and fake.

Karen Fukuhara too?? WTF is wrong with these women??
Someone high in Hollywood must have a feitish for "dolling" up women.

Watched the first three episodes. It's funny how the people that write and praise this show can go "See you heckin chuds? You're being led by the nose by big business and government! They don't actually like you! They just pretend to so you support them uncritically!" and completely fail to see the irony

Haven't seen the new episodes but personally wish him and the asian girl would just go away. They have absolutely nothing to do and are just there, they give them scenes that pretty much have nothing to do with the plot and it's not interesting or fun.
Oh it gets better this season. They decide to put Frenchie in a gay love triangle with Kimiko and some dude. I don't know the details of it because I skipped through that entire subplot, because it's boring as shit

The first three episodes contained so much goyslop, I couldn't handle it. I was yelling at my screen the entire time.

They devalued Frenchie's relationship with Kimiko, just to make him love a GAY NIGGER, whose parents he had killed. Didn't we have this arc for Frenchie already, you know, with Mallory's kids? Guess that wasn't enough, now it needs to be a retread but with a gay POC and le funny LSD trip visions.

Kimiko's story is just basic as all hell, sure she has trauma, so she needs to go out and put an end to the supe ring and finds an old slave girl friend. Don't know where this is going, don't care.

Hughie hates his mom, rightfully so, but from the first 3 episodes, just the actor acting reminded me of how cucked the current age protagonist is. Like, you can yell at your mom and not look like a sniveling pussy. He looked like exactly that.

If the threesome rumors with him, Ashley and Tek-Knight are true, that'd be fun to see at least, in a shitty degenerate hollywood exec way. However, the sex stuff in this show has increasingly gone on my nerves, like the simp multiply guy who was friendzoned by Firecracker. You mean to tell me that he needs a human centipede of ass licking clones of himself, while jerking off to a woman's photo? What did he expect, that she would ever lick his ass? He can multiply! The gangbang joke is there, but is squandered on a shitty ass licker joke. Was him fucking himself up the ass too graphic, so they had to resort to ass licking? Maybe ass licking yourself is less gay than fucking yourself up the ass? I actually don't even want to ask anymore.

MM is a token black guy. He has no story, no arc and he never will. In the comics, I'm pretty sure Mother's Milk as his name was a dig at the CIA (?) for spreading drugs in black neighborhoods to make them, well, retarded. So no one will ever explain his name's origin in this show, because that would mean they have to adapt that story, and since they're too lefty, they won't do it.

Butcher is the one whose arc here actually seems normal, since he wants to take care of his cuck kid. If the leaks are to be believed, it will all be nullified once he calls Ryan a product of rape, which is literally what happened last season, just not so in-your-face. The story retreads aren't even funny, they're just sad.

Also, did Smart Negresse (forgot her name immediately) literally lobotomize herself to sleep with the Deep? I thought it was Homelander who did it at first.

Oh and Homelander. I don't know if it's just me, but he seems more cartoonishly evil than usual. All the nuance is thrown out of the window. Like, your kid regrets killing a person and you just tell him "lol they're our playthings stop being assmad". I think the writers are making him less relatable on purpose, just a comedic vanity man who is literally Drumpfler.

I quit the show after Season 2. I saw the first season and really liked it ... But then I thought the second season was really, really dumb.

Based on what I've heard, it hasn't gotten better ... Glad to know I haven't missed anything.

Todd Thundercock apparently started shit and got kicked out of the house between seasons, but they also confirmed that he has a massive dick. But then Black Noir smashes his head in for a false flag operation. RIP to Todd Thundercock, his dick was too big for this show.

Yeah his name and character are clearly a dark parody of crack babies in 'urban' communities. In the comics he's born with V in his blood and has to continually breastfeed from his mother to sustain his life. It's typical over the top Ennis writing but hilariously politically incorrect. When South Park did it's Crack Baby Basketball episode they made almost all of the crack mothers White because they were huge pussies by then and could never find their cutting edge level of humor they used to have in the first couple of seasons.

So with The Boys on Amazon they either had to make MM White to keep the crack baby story. Or just keep him black and remove the more obvious references to him being the Compound V equivalent of a crack baby. At one point on the show they mention Operation Charly and the CIA running crack into black neighborhoods but it was dropped immediately after that conversation. They clearly wanted Soldier Boy to be more racist as well, like the references to fire hosing people at Selma, but they backed off of that as well.

What's funny is that Sister Sage is supposed to be some genius. But so far she's failed to spot the obvious surveillance van taking pictures of her. Has done everything Homelander wanted like a slave. And like a typical nigger has started a riot over nothing and killed three innocent people. These writers lean into the worst stereotypes, from a liberal perspective, without even realizing it.

Super Powered Genius. Still does the 'Leave the utterly incompetent henchmen to kill the professional supe killers without staying to make sure the job is done' cliche.

Yeah, they definitely turned Homelander up to eleven and removed any and all interesting interactions with his son. They have to strip something else away from him every season, because having interesting character beats might make the political enemy mouthpiece likable.

I’ll say it again, the comics are much better than the show
First season was promising. Everything after has shown that Ennis was decades ahead of his time and that no one at Amazon had any long term vision of what this show was supposed to be. Now it's bloated into multiple spinoff series and is a complete mess. It's become just as bad as the stuff it's supposed to be mocking and parodying.

This will happen another dozen times this season with different characters as well.

the political commentary this season has the subtlety of a sledgehammer. Homelander talking about teacher having to take critical supe theory of the curriculum actually made me laugh with how fucking retarded it was

Say what you will about Garth Ennis and The Boys comic. it didn't go anywhere really compelling with the deconstructionist depiction of "what if superheroes were murderous jerks?" and had lots of self-indulgent shock humor but its satirical jabs at the corporate establishment or the military industrial complex, or the entertainment industrial complex, were never as dumb, preachy or suffused with oily smugness as the TV show - you need hack writers from Hollywood for that.

This had me all sorts of confused, was he always a faggot or is this a new thing? The most annoying thing for me is the sage, niggress is of course the smartest being around and has an annoying disposition.

He's French, of course he's bisexual to the writers.

Sage will end up being the hero of the series and will take down Homelander. Ignoring the fact she facilitates bad things because the ends justifies the means.

Every time I tell myself, maybe I’ll go back to The Boys now, I get a reality smack.

Tbf, I knew when I first saw Frenchie what they’d do, but it’s still unnecessary. He and The Female’s relationship was one of the VERY FEW genuinely wholesome things about The Boys. It grounds against pure edge, and it should’ve remained that.
