I'm watching the episode that came out today. I still have 20 minutes left. Holy shit I think I'm done.

Nothing is fucking happening. And I've been convinced nothing WILL happen for a while now. Homelander is immortal now and all he's doing is standing around talking. The first thing this fucker should have done is laser Vought tower and crash through it top down. This should have been the opening to the episode.

The actors in this show are carrying it hard. Karl Urban seems like he doesn't really give a fuck anymore though.

Season 1 was great. Season 3 had some high points. Everything else is garbage and time wasting. They want this show to be taken seriously but they keep doing the fucking weird sex jokes and shit. WOW THE TWO PEOPLE WITH GOOD SENSES OF SMELL SNIFF EACH OTHERS ASSES AND SAY WHAT THEY HAD FOR LUNCH!!! GREAT COMMENTARY!!!

Homelander is supposed to be an evil superman parody. Homelander is just retarded superman now. It's wild to me that the most insane thing he did was back in season 2, where he imagined himself lasering a crowd of people. Why wasn't this done at the beginning of the season for real when the investors witnessed what a piece of shit he is abandoning the plane in season 1? That was supposed to be Chekov's gun. And they did NOTHING with it.

What a disappointment. I'm tapping out.

They genuinely don't have enough runway left to do anything other than have Kimiko and/or Soldier Boy depower Homelander and the rest of the Boys kill him.

As someone up-thread posted, the finale would have to be 3 hours long for them to set up a decent ending at this stage because they've done so little in the previous 7 episodes.

Also, did we really need yet another character explaining how Butcher is a selfish piece of shit who just uses his "friends" to get what he wants and doesn't care if they die? Every second episode has this shit spelled out by someone or other. We fucking get it.
 
The most frustrating thing about this show is that whenever something big does happen, there's zero build up to it. Homelander's new religion just starts and Oh Father pivots to it instantly. It just makes it feel so pointless, meanwhile everything else in the show is just spinning its wheels and writing off plot threads established in the previous seasons. I don't get why they're acting like the virus is useless against V1 supes when it still knocked Soldier Boy out for a decent amount of time. Surely they could infect him and then carry him to a radiation chamber they just have laying around (seriously, did they just go back to the old lab, rip it out of the wall, and transport it to the school hideout?) to weaken him enough where he's possible to kill with Butcher's cancer tentacles.

It doesn't even feel like the stakes have been raised. Oh, Homelander's immortal now? That's cool, he could kill literally everyone bar Butcher with a single laser anyway.
 
Some unconfirmed leaks about the finale are starting to come out:

The episode starts with The Boys grieving Frenchie’s death (scene from the trailer) that was originally supposed to be a the end of episode seven. They come up with a final plan to stop Homelander once and for all. They also have a backup plan in case Soldier Boy shows up, because they still think he’s unfrozen and will probably side with Homelander now.

Then there’s a massive press conference at the White House where Homelander and Ashley publicly announce that he’s basically the new “god” of America on live national television. Homelander says that Starlighters and all “unfaithful” people will be purged and only true believers deserve to remain in the country. The reporters are obviously horrified and shocked. Homelander starts listening to their heartbeats and realizes none of them actually believe what he’s saying. This is supposedly where he completely snaps for the first time in the episode.

Homelander massacres everyone in the room live on TV. According to the leak, he skins people alive and even kills a pregnant reporter in an extremely graphic way (ripping babies out of their moms womb). After that, even a lot of Homelander supporters become terrified of him instead of worshipping him. Some civilians try standing up to him but get lasered instantly, similar to the scene he imagined back in Season 2.

The U.S. military gets involved and tries to stop him but Homelander basically destroys everything they throw at him. While all this is happening, The Boys are hiding in a warehouse testing Kimiko’s new powers. they successfully replicated soldier boys powers but just kinda weaker.

Ryan is hiding in New Zealand at this point. He sees everything happening in America through social media and decides to fly back to the US to help stop Homelander. Homelander then goes to NYC and starts causing complete chaos. He also purges Vought Tower. Meanwhile Stan Edgar manages to escape custody by manipulating the guards. Soldier Boy's pod becomes unlocked during the chaos.

Starlight goes to the Gen V kids and brings Marie with her for the final battle. Homelander gathers loyal supes at the White House and orders them to help “purge” America from non-believers. Oh Father becomes genuinely horrified by Homelander’s actions because nobody will support the church anymore if he keeps openly massacring civilians. He tells Homelander this will destroy their profits and influence. Homelander asks him if he’s loyal or if he’s going to betray him like everyone else. Before he can answer properly, Homelander rips him in half. Ashley witnesses this and runs away because she realizes she’s probably next.

Homelander later goes to The Boys HQ looking for them, but only Terror is there. Terror apparently pisses on Homelander’s boots, reminding him of Butcher, so Homelander lasers the dog in half. The Boys eventually return to the HQ to grab the virus before heading to Washington and find Terror dead. According to the leak, this completely breaks Butcher mentally and he goes full berserk mode, deciding he wants every supe dead no matter what after “softening a bit” in early episodes. Ryan arrives shortly after, sees what happened to Terror, and fully sides with The Boys.

The Boys, Ryan, and the Gen V characters eventually make their way into the White House while fighting through Homelander loyalist supes. Hughie carries the virus. The final fight happens inside the Oval Office. Ryan, Butcher, Starlight, Marie, Kimiko, and the others all fight Homelander together, but he’s powered up by V1 and he overpowers all of them. Starlight kills the deep.

Eventually Marie uses her blood powers together with Butcher’s tentacles while Ryan restrains one arm and Starlight blinds him long enough for Hughie to infect him with the virus. The virus weakens Homelander temporarily, similar to what happened with Soldier Boy earlier in the series. Kimiko then charges up and releases a massive blast that hits everyone inside the Oval Office. After the explosion, Homelander is supposedly depowered and terrified for the first time in the show. Almost everyone is unconscious except Butcher and Homelander. Homelander cries.


The leak says the final fight is literally just the two of them beating each other as normal humans. Butcher eventually overpowers and whoops him and kills Homelander with a crowbar similar to one of the comic panels.

After everyone wakes up, Ryan and Marie are apparently the only supes left with powers. More supes arrive at the Oval Office after Homelander dies, but Ryan lasers them before they can attack.

Butcher escapes and lives alone peacefully in Hawaii. The Boys visit him sometimes, and Ryan occasionally visits too.

Hughie and Starlight move to Mexico (setting the Boys Mexico spinoff).

MM reunites with his family.

Vought completely collapses and Vought Tower is destroyed, but Stan Edgar still has enough connections to quietly rebuild influence in the background.

Ashley finally leaves everything behind and escapes to France, which apparently references what A-Train told her back in Season 4.

Kimiko and Ryan become closer after everything that happened.

Soldier Boy is seen post credits on a yacht off of Colombia.

Where were these leaks originally posted? I’ve seen some claimed leaks so far that are massively different

If the ones above are true, that’d be kinda kino
 
I guarantee that Mexico boys spin off will get canned, also I'm not so sure how I feel with the leaked show ending compared to the comic ending because the show isn't doing the dumb black noir clone twist and will actually show Home lander fighting and dying but how they execute it is going to be cheap and dumb.

They've been going this way since the first season. They barely kill anyone off. And most characters get a redemption arc. Also Butcher constantly wearing Hawaiian shirts fits in the ending of him on the beach with Hughie. They also clearly had plans to bring back most of the cast for Gen V season three or The Boys Mexico. And the Vought Rising prequel has stolen the entire spotlight from the main characters in the final Boys season.

This is similar to Game of Thrones as well. Where most of the cast survived the apocalypse intact. Despite this huge buildup of the Others. Homelander will probably take out one or two main characters like Kimiko or Oh Father and then just pathetically die like the Great Other against Arya.
 
I find it weird how the leaks are correct but also wrong. They were also weirdly confident with shit that flat out didn't happen.

I mean the leak went the other way, but in the comic, Hughie eventually comes to terms that Butcher was never sane. They throw down at the top of the WTC.
But in the comic Hughie and Butcher are both mainline supes, no special abilities as in the show, but they could take a tank shell to the chest.
(You can kill a supe by running them over with a tank though)
I imagine the tank kill was what created the idea of the boys in the US military, the fact you can kill the fucking freaks.

As to homelander ripping a baby out of a reporter? I fucking doubt it. There are a couple things in the leak I don't think Amazon would do. Like the comic? Yes and Yes.

Same thing with terror. If Homelander was going to kill terror, they would have done it already, and the leaker really went one handed typing with that one.

I could see Terror humping Homelanders boot and homelander being disgusted, but I don't think he'd laser him, there's no sadistic benefit there, even fucking with butcher.
 
That part about Ashley contradicts the other leaks. This one seems like wishful thinking because it feels pretty satisfying.
 
I just get an icky feeling in my mouth thinking about the show in its current state. Like honestly it's so fucking awful that it makes season 4 look spectacular by comparison which is saying something because I remember how pissed the fandom was with the on the nose references to the GOP and DNC back then. It's clear as day that they had no idea what to do with Sage and they just nuked her entire character by making her completely ignore love of all things and then make her act like a full on retard. I also don't get why they're just throwing together a bunch of random bullshit with zero buildup like the whole church of Homelander thing.
 
Gee guys it was a really big mystery why, after finally ascending to "godhood", Omelanda had his top religious PR guy working overtime at the movie studios. What nefarious deeds could he be planning? We'd better personally go in and investigate and oh shit shit shit fuck what do you mean they have supes working security. Glad we spent the penultimate episode of our entire series on this fucking massive conundrum. They spent more time discovering the horrible truth that Vought Studios produces movies, than they did elaborating on the assassination of the president of the united states and the events that followed

The fine details are obviously bullshit but one detail from the earlier leaks was Soldier Boy being disinterested in the big picture god emperor bullshit and trying to fuck off to hookers and blow after effectively handing the reigns over to Homie, who couldn't take the abandonment and fucks him up and throws him back in stasis. In light of the previous episode ending with HL and SB apparently making nice, I think this was a specific enough detail to prove there really are genuine leaks going around. Killing the heckin doggerino to set off Butcher is a viable option I think, but there's no way the writers have the balls to have Homie disembowel a pregnant woman.

I'm not exactly dead set on "Homelander wins" bad ending but besides Homelander, Billy Butcher i think is the person least deserving of a good outcome here so I really hope the leaks aren't true anyway. If they want to be subversive, have The Deep fuck off and live happily ever after.
