Eh, someone liked those stupid cartoons. The show itself is based on a Russian folk tale, but of course since they made it a series they had to keep the formula going of this girl constantly coming over to Bear's place all the time.

I've noticed that on some of these heads, the eyes are super sunk in and it looks kinda like a short tunnel before the actual "eye" is there. Why do they do that? Is it just shitty fur suiting practice?

It's supposed to create the illusion that the eyes are following you and can be in different positions seen from different angles.
