Thanks to digital latchkey kids, and emotionally stunted adults we have a weird new genre of semi-adult cartoons with dark af themes but with designs that clearly appeal to children as well as the autistic adult alike.
[to be read in a jazzy rhythm]
🎶 Children are crying / the youth spirit dying/
The nuclear family is not what it seems/
These are some of my favorite themes🎵

although it hilariously only contains jax/kaufmo/ribbit and the first wave that entered along kinger. people only known by a now heavily demented kinger get included, people known by both him and a still perfectly sane ragatha get thrown out.
Absolute peak FNAF-style loreshit worldbuilding. They've got youtubers going frame by frame through episodes looking for meaning in every random detail, meanwhile the actual creators can't be assed to think about those details for more than five seconds

but im not sure how gangle just stumbled into this world after getting hit by a fucking truck and clearly not being recovered at moment of entry...
It's a microcosm of how the whole thing is written. In Episodes 2 (I think) and 4, Gangle getting Truck-kun'd is played as a comedic bit, then it's framed as a critically important character detail by showing it during the climax of Episode 8, then it's never addressed again and it means nothing in the end.

So is the show actually good? I watched the pilot when it came out and just never followed up when the show actually got greenlit. I couldn’t care less if the fandom is cringe, I don’t interact with fans anyway.

Generally as long as you don't think to hard about the lore or expect the writers to have planned their storyline out from the start it's fine. The last episode ended on an unsatisfying note and the leaked movie sounds like a group therapy session. It's a great show to start, not so great to finish.

All this SCP shit stems back to a funny 4chan copypasta fake government file of a statue that shits itself constantly and kills you when you aren't looking at it by breaking your neck in a fit of autistic rage. never forget what they took from you.
Kane pixel is snorting coke from strippers asscracks right this very second while the OP on /x/ is dying from wagecuckery

My boy Cain got a redemption arc so that's all that matters. That's what I mean by humanistic writing. To the California tranny, no one is irredeemable and monsters are just people who can't afford therapy. It's naive but there's a charm to it.

I mean that you had a good thing going until you went too far and pretended spiteful mutant troons have a shred of empathy for normal people.
