I never understood the appeal of this show and now I'm super happy the cattle is getting two shitty endings along with the goys. I think Jax is a perfect tranny representation, with mental issues and all that. Only missing a suicide by bridge

Oh my god, they sneak a scene of Jax crying and panicking after Kaufo abstracted to say he was totally breaking down offscreen.

Did Goose read my comment about how retroactively out of character Jax was in the pilot? It's pretty obvious this shit was not planned from the start and he resorted to egregious retcons, i'm offended goose thinks i wouldn't notice it.
 
I just don't understand how accepting life in the circus is supposed to be a happy ending... they don't really address a lot of the existential questions the characters would inevitably have... or maybe they did idk I'm not Portuguese. But if the answer was to just accept life in the circus, I have to wonder why the previous characters didn't come to that conclusion. I think that would be the obvious thing to do in their situation. Are we saying that Caine was the cause previous characters were unable to find peace in the simulation? Or that the blue AI was? In which case it's quite the choice for the antagonistic force to just be removed so inconsequentially.

This is the sort of ending I pictured could be the good/acceptance ending. And I mean, it's a fine way to deal with being a brain scan, all you can do is roll with it or kill yourself... but Jax's melodramatic bullshit being such a focus was pretty annoying. This dude is just a mentally unstable piece of shit. He causes problems for everyone all the time, He acts like a lost puppy but pushes people away when they respond and try to understand him. And apparently caused other people to abstract through his dick behavior. And and we are meant to feel sad for him? This shit really just screams that it was written by a troon.

A lot of "adult cartoons" are the most childish shit you can imagine except they can say "fuck" The reason why the old ones where so mature is because there was an actual art and formula to them, it wasnt just for kids but for the family as a whole, therefore they had to entertain both the parents and the child so they always struck that balance of being dumb enough for the child to be entertained but also smart enough to keep the parents engaged, is why a lot of them also had cheeky aldult humor to please the adults watching with their kids like, for example, that scene from fairy oddparents with the mom and dad characters jumping on the bed when timmy was out, as a kid it was just silly, but as an adult the joke hits you better because you understand whats going on. It was an skill that is sadly slowly deteriorating as more and more these new animators entering the industry are not making entertaiment for the family but to other fellow manchildren so you end with stuff like this.

Alright so in the post credits scene. On the left we have Gangle and Zooble, looking like your average short brown lesbian couple, including a 'nonbinary lesbian'. Then in the middle Ragatha (not thicc af, in fact all lf them are fairly skinny) and Pomni, looking like a regular pair of white girl friends. Next to them is Kinger, a respectable older white man, lost in his own world, probably thinking about coding. And then allll the way on the right, Jax playing the ambiguously brown loner loser, with his shitty skinny jeans and godawful emo haircut. Even tho him and zooble are supposed to know eachother.

I like how it ends with Jax being replaced with a better man (Caine)

Besides Jax personal issues and the real life situation of the characters, barely anything gets adressed.
-Scratch abstraction isn't explained.
-How the non-C&A people got in the circus isn't adressed.
-Kinger is actually close to Ragatha during the flashbacks, creating a giant plothole about she not knowing about the bright lights situation.
-In fact, the Caine "modifiers" plot point is completely forgotten about.
-Multiple games on the flashbacks works with duos, except there is only like 5 people on the circus.
-The other 4 unnamed non-C&A people goes unmentioned and their fates are never explained.
-Somehow Caine has returned.
-Caine is the chill AI while Abel is the evil one, completely contradicting episode 8 beginning, or maybe it was a "subversion", who knows?
-Moon still exists despite she being created by Caine.
-Kinger says "Pomni was the quickest to adapt".What does this even mean? She isn't a literal retard that keeps sobbing about her life? Is she smarter than the C&A staff that all got abstracted by unexplained reasons?
-Jax abstraction looks like a fever dream state where he hallucinates multiple scenarios, which makes the situation of the other abstractions completely inconsistent since the trigger of most of them goes unexplained. Was Kaufmo that dumb to not notice he could conjure the exit door? Is his fever dream just the fucking door?
-They complained about Caine torture, but treat abstractions like zoo animals.

Eh. Ending is not as disappointing as people say, but could have been a lot better too. A lot of loose ends and missed potential. Overall meh.
