Okay so, looking at the scrubthrough, here's what actually happens in Episode 9:
  1. Kinger explains that they are brainscans, everyone realizes they can't leave and are big sad.
  2. Kinger and Pomni start reconstructing the circus, everyone except Jax joins.
  3. We get a timeskip and see that Jax abstracted offscreen. They decide that they need to contain abstracted Jax since Caine isn't around anymore.
  4. They try to put a leash on Jax but Pomni gets absorbed.
  5. Pomni has a pointless 20 minute adventure in Jax' nightmare world. This entire sequence is completely pointless since Jax can't be saved anyways.
  6. The others somehow manage to pull Pomni out of the Jax blob via plot magic. The Jax blob is now wooed and pacified enough that they can put him in gay baby jail.
  7. They finish reconstructing the circus offscreen and figure out how to disable the dystopia filter. Meanwhile, Caine has a spiritual journey in the recycle bin nirvana where he discovers his inner Ghandi and we see that the Blue AI (Bubble?) was somehow the malevolent one that gave him his powers.
  8. Caine acts like Gollum for a bit, but then easily removes the malevolent blue AI on his own (just lets it drift away??? Why does it not have a body??? What is it gonna do???) and manages to get back to the Circus due to plot magic. (oh, and he has a short conversation with the moon that's lusting for him, who convinces him he should go back)
  9. They all become best friends with Caine and somehow have internet access to cyberstalk their real selves online. Their real selves are all amazing supergay of course (but haven't really accomplished anything noteworthy by non-queer standards).
  10. And then they get to live happily ever after playing board games in the circus or whatever.
This episode is in no way fit for theaters. No wonder they have to tack on episode 8, otherwise absolutely nothing plot relevant would be happening.

To break it down to the essentials: they rebuild the circus with flat shapes (THEY DON'T EVEN CONJURE ANYTHING INTERESTING) Jax dies offscreen, they put the Jax abstraction in jail, Caine comes back, kumbajah, and done. Wow.

So if Jax kills himself by having a panic attack because he can’t deal with the world around him instead of accepting who he is, and Jax is Goose’s self-insert… then this is the most elaborate suicide I’ve ever seen. Bravo, Goose!

Call me retarded but I did enjoy this show. It's not the perfect masterpiece people make it out to be but it's entertaining. I didn't know the creator was a troon until very recently however, that might have put a bad taste in my mouth from the start.

But I still think this is hilarious. They kind of get what they brought on themselves by basically requiring people to pay to not get spoiled. They had a golden goose (hahaha) in the series, they had the opportunity to show that indie production has completely buckbroken corporate media, but they dropped the ball. Imagine buying a ticket to see the movie and having it spoiled for you anyway. Also if the ending is real, it literally was the most predictable; I love Jax and all but we all knew he was most likely to abstract, and we all knew SOMA Theory the was most likely explanation. I was hoping they'd subvert expectations a bit, at least. I actually thought it was fake at first for that reason, I guess we still have to see but I do think it's most likely legit.

Luke Lerdwichagul likes Egoraptor; many old SMG4 videos used a LOT of voice snippets and sound effects from Egoraptor and GameGrumps videos. Here are some examples of sound effects used in Classic SMG4:








Furthermore, this isn't the first time Egoraptor has appeared in anything related to Glitch. He also appeared in this Meta Runner thing alongside TheOdd1sOut.

Even the word delusional falls short. No wonder GW was vague posting about not being happy about it being on theaters. Even he knew this wouldn't work as a movie.

Imagine all the kids that were begging their parents to watch a fun adventure with their favorite cartoon characters doing, silly jokes, thrilling action scenes, and all they will get is their favorite funny rabbit killing himself ( not even on screen), in the first 8 minutes, and everything else is just them crying, and browsing the internet.

It's already underwhelming as a finale let alone a movie that was supposed to destroy Disney at the box office.

Holy shit, I forgot about that. Well, even if Toy Story 5 is unnecessary, at least I'm sure it will have more substance than TADC's finale.

I am not even mad at SOMA theory being true. Even if a twist doesn’t surprise you, the way they handle can make up for it.

What dissapointed me is that there was ZERO horror to the situation. Even Jax’s death is just an afterthought. I am not even saying it should had been depressing or even sad.

Yes, the situation is terrifying in theory. On paper knowing for a fact you are trapped forever in a place with monsters that used to be like you, and might be you one day, should be horrifying. Worse, you don’t even get the luxury of being real.

But in practice this is indistinguishable from a Steven Universe therapy episode. Crying, talking about feelings and then cope with the power of friendship. And they just hug it out with Caine.

They have the horror set up of "I have no Mouth and I must Scream" , but the gravitas and maturity of "My Little Pony".

Well yeah thats good and all but were comparing 2000s era prime atlanta cable content to a 2020's youtube shitshow ran by a tranny, 2 australi-mutt chinks, and a ex blue sky animator. Obviously the former is better in every way.
 
i know one of the episodes of this show is like a mad max parody for some reason

why would i watch that when i could just pirate mad max 2: road warrior for free and have an infinitely better time because its not made by troons
