I thought the ending couldn't be even worse than I thought it was. It is.

You know, I'm actually upset over this shit. It was hyped up to be some extremely experimental, mind-bending shit, but instead it's;

Ok so Jax stumbling upon the headseat bc he was homeless turned out to be true.

Funny af that irl he is now a mailman named Leroy thats friends with Zooble of all characters. His human him got a way better ending than bunny him who just went insane and died.

I think what I'm most surprised by is that Zooble ended up being a man. I always thought he sounded like a she.
 
Zooble turning out to be a mtf troon is the least surprising thing, considering it was Goose's self-insert. It's exceptionally funny that he turned out to be a jeet though.

Edit: oh nvm, I guess Zooble is also a taco person of some kind? Verceles? I guess I'm confused what that twitter artist's relationship to all of this is then since he seemed to call some of the details (right down to Jax being named Mateo) but whiffed on others. Did Goose just see that post two months ago and swipe the details he liked?
 
It's hard to make my mind up.

On one hand, I'm a TADC enjoyer and the ending is fucking awful. Jax deserves a better conclusion than Cooper forcing his 41% fantasy onto him.
On the other hand, the anger I had over the finale being in theatres, and the vindication of seeing it leak like this, and knowing how upset ol Coop must be... That's a good feeling.

I'm really confused about Jax's story arc in particular. I'm piecing the timeline together by the scrubthrough so I could be contextually incorrect but is Jax suiciding really what this was all building up to? If his final scene in this show is genuinely him begging not to die, and then dying, that'd be unnecessarily depressing to me. Maybe even a bit anticlimactic for him? He seemed to be the only character the "finding meaning in a stagnant life" was for.

Ditto on the unnecessarily depressing thing. And yeah, the whole meaning of the show would have applied best to him. Except it's given to everyone but him. Jax might not be fully dead inside the circus at least, it's possible that they can just go "inside" the mind files of an abstracted.

He became homeless after Gangle canceled him on Xitter for calling her a NEGA and then got groomed by a gay Mexican/Jeet who found him living in an abandoned mall and now drinks his troubles away every night at Gay Cheers. I'd want to off myself too.

Maybe its 2 paths? Since he put on the headset as a homeless dude squatting the building. And then after that he went in 2 different paths:

The circus him becoming an even bigger jerk and going insane and fucking dying lol

The human him depending on his friends and getting his life back in order and living happily (enough) ever after, seeming content enough even if his real life is a bit boring.

Gangles happy ending being working at a small designing company and having a webcomic with maybe a handful of fans max seemed pretty stagnant, kinger just having a regular family life too. Tho zooble started a popular bar so I wouldn't really consider that stagnant ig.
