Would that mean the end of the Indie Renaissance?

What you're implying is that once TADC is over, this whole boom of indie pilots on YouTube will die down. I still see indie pilots that are forgotten after a few months in my recommendations, so I don't think it will disappear completely, but they won't be as frequent as they are now.

unnoficial digital circus sequel where they can swear and say every slur imaginable but one of them has to troon out so it's seen as ok with the "fanbase" till they deem it the same as everything else and go after it.

I mean if the entire “Renaissance” is being driven by one show that has a 0% chance of getting a second season, I doubt that show ending in less than a month will bode well for the scene. There will doubtlessly be studios fighting to fill the popularity vacuum that TADC will leave behind, but whether any of them will have the same level of success remains to be seen.
Again, similar thing happened where people thought FNF would cause the long awaited Newgrounds renaissance. Turns out none of the fans actually liked NG as much as they liked watching Sonic Exe bounce around on the ipad screen, and none of them stuck around after Ninjamuffin et al look the Kickstarter money and ran.

Now there are 3 doxxess of plainrock and 2 seem to be the same, and my guess is their using the latest one (and by latest I mean one thats from 2024) which was considered trash by the people at doxbin but there were new comments in the latest one.

I just realized something real fucking stupid.

So, Jax's VA said Nega as a joke in 2019. Keep in mind, 2019 is NOT "Early" Internet. People saying Nega as a joke were definitely being condemned at the time. But people still forgive him because it's not like he was being actually racist, he just said that word as a joke

Plainsrock said Nega as a joke. He wasn't being super racist, he just said the word as a light jab towards that clip. Glitch and Goose acted like he was a hyper-racist monster throwing out slurs everywhere, publicly shaming him online and banning him from their events. Digital Circus fans began lynching the guy and act like he's the worst human being to exist


Jax's VA saying Nega was fine, but some random guy saying it is cause to burn him at the stake.

"It's hateful behavior unless it's done by someone in our group"
"It's racist unless the person that makes my favorite thing says it"


Edit: another thing I just realized. This is probably why Glitch and Goose are cracking down so hard on Plains.

In order to scapegoat Kovach saying Nega, they're using this guy sharing that clip to say
"We hate this guy, this guy's bad. See? We're not racist. We don't like that word either. Look at how much of a horrible human being this guy is. Unlike us and the people we work with, right?"

the thing is that what I've witnessed is that many ppl treat glitch and their 'anti disney company' or atleast that’s something along those lines.

Obviously when TADC does end I doubt it’ll make indie animation fade to obscurity after Dana Terrance is now onboard with glitch and such.
