I miss the neurotic, nervous wreck Pomni from the pilot. Her becoming a generic nice guy everyman is disappointing, especially when she saved Gangle from abstracting in the end since seeing that happen onscreen would have been kino.
All Pomni did this episode was work the desk. This was probably much easier for her considering the last three episodes, and seeing Gummigoo again probably cheered her up.

Personally I'm hoping something akin to an actual plot will start soon. The bottle episodes are fine but I'm getting a bit impatient. Everyone has been pretty thoroughly established by now, so I'd like some semblance of progression.
supposedly all of them did things that made them deserve being there according to Gooseworks)
What are the odds that The Circus is some kind of prison for misanthropes? We don't know about what society they live in outside of the digital world. Maybe it's Orwellian.

It has already been said that this show is much more character focused over making a larger narrative, I believe episode 6 or 7 is when shit actually starts to go down bad once all human performers have been properly characterized.

The kinger episode was dogshit imo, worst episode. At that point in the story I was tired of pomni's contemplative 1 on 1s. I had serious whiplash from kinger's sudden lucidity. I heard the theory about him being normal in the dark but thats fucking retarded

The mcdonalds episode is the best so far. Actually explores different sides of the characters, zooble is there and she's cool :^) drunk ragatha is awesome, she's way more likable when she's not a suck up, jax is nicer and etc.
Kinger episode is ruined by the feelings bullshit heart to heart.

this just popped into my mind a few days ago, why is Zooble a non-binary with they/them pronouns while Bubble, someone who looks far more "gender-ambiguous" because he's a literal bubble with a mouth?, it would make much more sense of the AI assistant to be the genderless one.

I feel it would be a lot more consistent this way.

this is just my personal experience, but the first time I heard and seen Zooble, I had immediately clocked her as a girl, while I can never discern what Bubble was supposed to be until Gooseworx confirmed his gender later in a QnA

The voices of Zooble (Ashley Nichols) and Jax (Michael Kovach) broke up today.

Ashley's initial post:

Michael Kovach's post:

tl;dr:
>Michael Kovach and Ashley Nichols get into a relationship 6 years ago
>Early on, Nichols asks Kovach to turn their monogamous relationship polyamorous
>Kovach agrees
(which hints to me that this is probably his first relationship)
>Surprise, surprise, Ashley finds a new sidepiece "a few years later" but still keeps Kovach around
>Kovach is "happy and relieved that she and her new partner are happy"
>Their relationship becomes more like a "tight-knit friendship"
>bikecuck.png
>4 months ago, Kovach has the audacity to find a new partner and start sending romantic texts
>Kovach stops being a cuck and grows more distant
>Ashley progressively puts two and two together now that Kovach isn't simping for her as much
>Ashley gets buttmad that Kovach is being emotionally intimate with someone else without telling her (despite spending the "vast majority" of her relationship with him fucking someone else)
>shit falls apart, as it always does in polyamorous relationships and they have now started therapy individually.

Basically, Ashley wants to be mad at Michael for cheating, but can't since they're already in a polygamous relationship, she's the only one out of the two of them to have a partner outside of their relationship, and she knows how fucking stupid she would sound if she actually uttered the words "cheating".

They'll still work on shows together, so I guess this is just trying to get ahead of any kind of controversy.

>Kovach agrees (which hints to me that he's a fucking retard.)
Ftfy.
Legit advice, if your partner wants to do any of that bullshit open relationship, poly whatever the fuck they call it today, just break up with them right then and there.
It's going to happen eventually anyway, it's basically just the new way of saying "I want to break up with you but I don't want to actually dedicate or deal with any of the consequences that would entail so let's just pretend we're still together anyway."

I have never heard of a poly relationship that doesn't turn into an absolute disaster.

kek at these retards, when will they get a clue?

Gigo Deal.png

Honestly, it's just insane to me to see them getting all of these deals. This is a really odd one too... Is TADC popular in Japan or something? Just seems like a really odd choice.
I'm not japanese so I don't know what Gigo is.

Glitch most likely has connections in Japan to get this started, since when a western cartoon can get their own manga or a fuckin cafe?

The Kinger episode is the best one, you people are just mean :(

As time goes on, I do agree that the heart to heart moment was a bit forced, but idk, it's still a really sweet scene to watch. I also just love that scene because it emphasizes how old the digital Circus is. With Kinger being the oldest member of the crew, who knows how many people has he seen being abstracted or how many years has he been stuck there.

Also episode 3 is definitely the funniest one with Kinger being the best character, so of course the episode is pretty kino.

Same, usually I don't mind watching or reading a series with sluggish progression, but considering how TADC will probably be 8 episodes (10 if I'm feeling :optimistic:), the show is basically halfway done and there hasn't been any progress since ep 1.

So I saw this posted in the cartoon industry thread:

Does anyone have more information on this? The only thing I have found out about this outside of Kiwifarms is on the Encyclopedia Dramatica and Soyjak wiki.

It's a classic example of progressives ignoring "Chesterton's Fence" at their own peril. They see a social norm, assume it must be oppressive or an unnecessary constraint on their own freedom, and then they have to learn the hard way why that norm existed in the first place.

Actually come to think of it from what I remember the two guys in charge of Glitch seemed to be of some kind of asian descent so who fucking knows? Maybe they have family or some shit in Japan who have connections to these businesses? That's the best explanation I can think up being a retarded gaijin. I think you are definitely on to something there.
Kevin and Luke Lerdwichagul.png

But I am a retard and racist so I might be wrong on this one. But them having some kind of connections over the pond would explain some of this.
