Yes there is a point where a fetus is "just a clump of cells" and not really anything that resembles human life. But that point is before most of these women even know they're pregnant, and far before they schedule abortions. The gross and disingenuous thing is that the liberal arguments in favor of abortion have merit and apply... to like, very first weeks of pregnancy. So they use this kernel of sense to override people's instinctual understanding that cutting a baby out of a mother is a horrible act that should only be done in dire emergencies.
