I'm excited for Gavan Infinity. The only Metal Heros stuff I watched was the VR Troopers show and only the 1st season. The 1st episode of Beetleborgs turned me off with the comedy so I skipped that show.

Just like KM Zeztz, I'm going in blind.

That's stupid.
youtubers running their mouths about three sentence fragments of gossip has ruined nerd chatter about online about this sort of shit. Nobody writes shit it's all "muh youtuber"

Look, if you have a problem with the medium, that is fine but that has nothing to do with what I asked. That is like being asked about a manhunt and talking about TV and how it ruined radio. If you have nothing to say on the matter, then don't.

youtube information isn't

Recently an HD remaster of the 12th episode of Ultra Seven, that was withdrawn by Tsuburaya Pro from future broadcasts, was uploaded to Niconico.jp this December, and taken down just recently and one outfit has already uploaded it to Archive.org, get it while you can.

Ultra Seven Episode 12.

For those unfamiliar, the episode was about the Alien Spell, the villains of the week, keloid scarred survivors of a nuclear war on their home planet, who come to Earth to harvest human blood in order to survive. It aired in 1967, and was rerun in 1969 without incident. The problem came about in 1970 when a series of trading cards were published that renamed Alien Spell as “Alien Hibaku” (“Alien Survivor”). This was a reference to the hibakusha, which was the name used for the survivors of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

It became a big controversy, as you can imagine.

Thoughts? How accurate is the info and analysis? Elaborate.
This guy's voice is rough.

I think the lack of Power Rangers money was a factor, but not the driving force behind Sentai being in the state it's in. Part of that has to do with merchandise sales for the franchise trending downward already combined with just Japanese kids' taste changing a little. The fact that there was no real innovation to the story formula on Toei's part prior to Zenkaiger and Bandai just churning out really samey toys year after year.

It's just a bunch of compounding issues that finally ate into the profits a little too much rather than one magic bullet that sank things.

So the video is accurate?

He did mention that PR was a "safety net".

I considered collecting all the mecha of Shinkenger in the past but Bandai ditching the folding gimmick after Shinken-Oh killed my interest.

I think the toys after Boukenger suffered design-wise and looked uninspiring. The worst ultimate combination for a toy that I've seen after that were ToQ Rainbow and Good Kuru Kaiser VSX.

Lu-Pat tried to change the series' dynamic and had an interesting concept but ended up just favoring the thieves instead. Part of me wishes that King-Ohger should have been the final series instead.

So VRex was Announced.

I guess. You seem pretty obsessed with him.
Not really. I did watch the video and he went into detail. I just asked how accurate the info was as it has been parroted by many channels (though this video was much bigger).
