Drive's quality was pretty much the same from beginning to end. It's just okay, never really good but never awful either. It's bland and inoffensive.

I think that Drive was okay for the first half. After Kamen Rider Chaser was introduced was when it picked up speed and got incredibly good. It needed to move past the two-part episode formula, and it did. Hopefully Ghost is good too.

Episodes 2 and 3 of Ghost discussion.
These first few episodes have flown by at the speed of light. Am I enjoying Ghost? Yes I am. Ghost is not taking its time setting up its premise, and I think that's a nice change of pace from Drive, that took forever to set up. Episode 2 was enjoyable, as it was fun seeing some light hearted stuff. It's introducing that other people, characters of the day, will be the ones unlocking the Eyecons for Takeru to use. For Edison it's a kooky scientist who just wants to be recognized for his genius and to live up to his idol, Thomas Edison. Episode 3 is much more in the same vain, but moving forward some small plot elements. Akari discovers some files from Takeru's father and creates a formula to make the Ganma and Ghost visible to human eyes. It's nice to know that not every episode will have Ghost just fighting in the shadows. People can complain about how fast its moving, but we're only 3 episodes in right now. It's like Gaim, where it was moving fast for the first few episodes and slowed down as time went on. It's good fun and I love Robin Hood Damashii the most out of all the forms so far.

Just wanted to put this here, but a pal I know just uploaded something I saw only once back in the 80's and wanted to see again. This was aired on PBS stations nationwide and was hosted by Night Court's Harry Anderson. Please mind the low audio here as the tape this guy had was recorded in EP mode.

Holy shit Toei. Zyuohger better be better than Nininniger. Nin was shitty as hell, and Zyuohger seems promising enough, especially with this insane design. He kinda reminds me of GaoSilver/Lunar Wolf Ranger, especially since he has a wolf and crocodile.The sixth ranger for the upcoming Zyuohger season has been revealed. He's called Zyuoh The World and holy shit his design looks whack. He's three colors at once!

I think that is the intention.
I've said stupider things but I have to be honest I didn't hate ninninger as much as the rest of the internet. sure it was dumb but honestly i'd say overall it was average. Admitly my taste's are different but when compared to other sentai like Gokaiger I thought ninninger was okay.

Ninninger is just... bad though. Kyoryuger had its designs and music going for it, that's why I stuck around. Ninninger doesn't have a lot going for it. Over the last three years we've had two shitty series, Kyoryuger and Ninninger, and one great one, Toqger.
Honestly i will admit that Toqger was the best mostly because of the really subversive message to conservate japan of "let these kids grow up don't give them your shit and make them little adults." and the fact that the child actors were really good. i mean i know it sounds like little but really that's kind of amazing considering that working with kids is genreally not a good thing for a tv show.
As for the quailty of the other two. eh fine. their everyone's cup of tea but I did fine some them entertaining.
and now as an englishman I need to make sure lawnmower is safely tucked away (trust me it makes sense if you watched ninninger.)

You are one of the few people that agrees that ToQger was a great series, sure Kyoryuger was fun but dinosaurs and ninjas are overdone. the train motif was actually a refreshing sight, it's probably one of the few mechas I wanna buy and at elast the auxilary mechas aren't just a 1 time gimmick like in some of the other sentais. I do like the simplicity of the Zyuohger Zord though.

I liked Toqger, but I dropped Ninninger early on. It felt like it was going to be one of those shows with an annoying red I can't stand. I'm going to give the new show a shot, but I haven't really watched Sentai in a year.
Just started watching Gaoranger. Wild Force was the last season I watched as a kid and I remember liking it. Here's hoping it's good.
And I'm going to say, I got behind watching Ghost and had to catch up awhile back. Watching like 8 episodes straight felt really good and the show has already shown a vast improvement over the initial episodes. I love these new villains we're getting and just love the voice on Necrom's armband-thing.
Now I just have to catch up on Dino Charge. I'm like 10 episodes behind.

Okay, two episodes into Zyuohger, and I already like it better than Ninninger. When you get over the iffy mecha and suits, the show is actually really good and the comedy is really funny.
