Thanks for the suggestions! I'll start with Kuuga and go from there! Thankfully I can "legally" watch the series with Shout but they are wilding in their offerings.
I would highly, HIGHLY suggest that you watch it via less than reputable means. Unfortunately, Shout translates the monsters' language on their streaming platforms when the show never intended you to know it (at least not right away). Fans were given a deciphered version for rebroadcasts and home releases. The Blu-ray from Shout gives you the option to leave the monster speak untranslated but that isn't an option on official streaming platforms afaik.

All their other releases are fine.

EDIT: Also John Sirebella of Media Blasters is going to Japan to look for licenses and he's looking for suggestions. They've released a number of Toku titles, most recently the 90s Trilogy of Kamen Rider movies. So if there's something you were hoping for then it's time to start begging.

If I were to pick a single favorite Kamen Rider series from the Showa to Reiwa era, it would be Kuuga. You have a likeable protagonist with multiple forms that are actually useful, freakish villains lead by an innocent-looking guy with a penchant for mass killings and the police who aren't useless in the long run.

On a side note, this year is Kamen Rider Stronger's 50th anniversary. Might have to watch that entire series in the near future.

I'm in the middle of watching Stronger right up to episode 12. If you're looking for a deeper story in the likes of the Heisei-era then you'll be disappointed since the Showa-era shows are usually "the monster of the episode stirring shit and the hero saves the day and ruins the villain's plan" formula.

A few short notes on Stronger so far - Shigeru's the prototype for Souji Tendou and it's not hard to see why. Willingly allowing a secret society to alter his entire body and then using his new powers on them takes balls. I also like his whistling and self-introduction in order to draw attention from Black Satan's minions too. Gotta appreciate Yuriko/Tackle at least for trying to help Stronger despite being weaker than him. Titan likes to look suave and hates his jacket being ruffled liked when he killed a foot soldier with a cigarette for accidentally bumping on him. A very few notable monsters like Gangaru (kangaroo) and Waniida (alligator) don't look bad.

Next episode
is shaped up to be Titan's last stand.

I just finished Boonboomger and I hated it unlike the LuPat finale.
Naito, the CEO should had stayed a good guy. Greed is a weak reason to throw away the relationship between him & Taiya plus the Boonboomgers.

Ishiro working with the ISA Boss plot went nowhere. The plot would have been better if he & Naito were working with Shirabe to bring the Boss down.

Mira sucks as a character. That is all. On the other hand, Genba was a great first Orange (for my intro). Jo was just ok. He isn't as good as the Pat Rangers but not bad like Mira.

Spindo as the big bad went out like a chump.

Overall, I would rate the series a 6/10.

Yeah the show started strong but definitely sputtered out in the last quarter. Probably doesn't help that your final mecha ended up boring and the team power-up was literally a jacket.

I gave it a shot, but after 9 episodes, I just don't think Gozyuger is doing it for me.

I don't think it's terrible, but it reeks of the same shit Toei's been doing for the past decade with both Super Sentai and Kamen Rider, centering their stories around heroes fighting/bickering with each other. Sure, people on Reddit will call it a "clever deconsruction", but when I go to watch Super Sentai, a show where team is in the name, I want to see heroes working together to fight villains instead of arguing with each other like morons. It's telling that the only character to point out that the Gozyugers should be working together for altruistic reasons is shot dead by the end of his first episode.

There is literally no reason for this Number One Battle to happen at all. What is so importan about being Number One, and why is Tegasword pitting heroes against each other? Hell, why haven't any of the Gozyugers or Universe Warriors simply changed their wish so if they win, every contestant gets their wish granted? It's not like the DGP where the losers die or lose their memories. Nothing bad happens to the losers of the Number One Battle outside of the ones Garyudo killed.

Most of the Gozyugers are interesting characters, with compelling backstories, but they all get bogged down by the writing making them all unnecessarily rude to each other. When Hoeru temporarily leaves the team, rather than appeal to the bond they share to get him back, the other Gozyugers just tell him that he owes them money and compare him to a dog (seriously, what is the Inoue family's obsession with dog jokes?). Wow, such compelling and likable characters. For comparison, the King-Ohgers were at least starting to get their shit together by this point.

I just don't get why the big anniversary season of Super Sentai is yet another example of "Hey, let's watch heroes argue and beat the shit out of each other! Isn't that what Super Sentai is all about?" Of course, if you go to r/circlejerk r/SuperSentai, they'll act like this is an amazing show and that people are jumping to conclusions when they say they don't like it.

At least Gavv is still knocking things out of the park, and Omega is looking promising.

Come to think of it, the last Super Sentai show I've watched from start to end that had Inoue as a head writer was Jetman and Kamen Rider Agito on the other side. His writing got worse starting from Kamen Rider Faiz (lots of assholes and lack of miscommunication that would have resolved a lot of issues with the characters in the first place) and never watched another Inoue-penned show from start to end ever since. I thought that King-Ohger was penned by Inoue for a brief moment due to the monarchs bickering at one another when I first saw it.

As for Gozyuger, I haven't watched any episode of it until now. Written by Inoue's daughter who inherited her father's predictable style of writing characters (being assholes for no reason) and uninteresting mecha (no default combining mecha, seriously?) prevent me from watching it altogether. I'd rather finish up Kamen Rider Stronger instead.

I'm mostly caught up on Gozyuger (still need to watch ep.9) but I like Garyudo's design, especially with the ripped cloak. So now the big mystery is what happened during the 10 years being stuck in No World.
