Actor Terry Crews received backlash for a tweet he made Sunday calling for people to be careful about the creation of “black supremacy.”

In the tweet, Crews cautioned that the end of white supremacy without the support of white people would create “black supremacy.” “Equality is the truth,” Crews continued, “Like it or not, we are all in this together.”

“Terry Crews” and “Black Supremacy” both began trending on Twitter shortly after the tweet was released, reported USA Today.

Orlando Jones responded to the tweet and said “Black supremacy? We represent 13% of US population, hold no institutional power & gaslight our coworkers.”

Director and writer Darryl Wharton-Rigby said in his response tweet that “we have officially entered the Twilight Zone” after Mitt Romney protested in Washington, D.C.

Author Frederick Joseph said “Every time I think Terry Crews has done the worst, he always does more” in his tweet.

Crews later lashed out on Twitter and said that those responding to his tweet with negative comments were “black supremacists.” Crews also said that people were calling him an “Uncle Tom” and a “Coon.”

Crews tweeted again Monday and said that “it is important we not suffer from groupthink, and we keep minds of our own, and be allowed to ask difficult questions to each other.” He also said that he hopes for “a better future for Black people” and that his messages came from “a spirit of love and reconciliation.”

If he can have black nationalism then whites can have their own nationalism, just natural to care for your own.

Crews is pretty based. I mean, he even went after called out the person who sexually assaulted him a few years back.

Crews is not based.

He's a cuck, simp, leftie, and whenever he has a decent take and gets called out for it by other lefties, he'll go back and apologize to them to please the crowd and the Jews above. Fuck him.

Imagine trying to put on a based facade about this considering that wife is white. The bitch is a walking Barbie doll.

Just another celeb talking out of his ass while taking it up the butt at the same time. Nothing surprising.

A few months ago a black woman talked about being sexually harassed/assaulted (i don't remember) in a similar way Crews was and he immediately defended the accused saying he had worked with the guy and never had a problem with him. Pretty much exactly what people said to him about the guy he accused. Seems like he can only stand up for something when it positively impacts him.

I feel like this is a sensible response to the entire cluster of a situation. I've always kinda liked Terry, but now I'm squarely on his "side", if there are even sides to be had, nowadays.

That's awful. Damn. Well, I can thankfully still support a specific idea without taking the entirety of the person espousing it with me.

If Terry Crews is pissing off the white left, he's okay in my book. He even came forward about his pornography addiction, and that's a tough thing to do.

Racial supremacists, black, white, or otherwise, can all suck my dick.

Yeah but talking about a 'black supremacists' is silly. Blacks are 13 percent of the population with decreasing political power(being upsurped by hispanics).

Blacks CAN be racist or what have you. But, logically, they can't really be supremacists in the U.S.

What he should be saying(but won't)is how racial politics are being used to mask class inequality. Blacks are falling into a narrative trap...

fucking terry, just go out there and start hugging people and we can get back to having a country thats not on fire

I think the internet has fucked me up. I can't read that without the phrase '50%' popping up into my head.
