I'm certain Richard Stallman is at least peripherally aware of Terry as he's kind of an inside joke amongst programmers and IT professionals.
He's also someone who actually reads his own emails (he generally corresponds by mail only because every other venue has closed source stuff in it or connected to it), so he might've gotten a chuckle out of Terry's emails, provided they stand out enough amongst the other IT weirdos that send him emails.
 
Stallman is nutty in his own way. I also think there's enough salt and rants between Torvalds, Poettering (systemd death threats?), and Kay Sievers to maybe warrant their own thread.

I've been experimenting with my own archive (See Archival Tools if you want to also do so) but I'd feel much more comfortable if someone like trapexit was handling it. Is it possible to contact uploaders on archive.org?

I think they'd come under the Open Source community watch banner(in with the NodeJS fags) if they ever had a flareup.

That's just what living on the streets does to you. I think he'll last a pretty long time.
 
He just looks dirty and not well kept, he doesn't look exactly unhealthy per se.

Sad thing is he'll probably always be on the street and whatever roof he gets over his head will only ever be temporary. This is probably his end as in his life won't really go anywhere from this. Lots and lots of homeless are mentally ill, even in countries where you get things like early retirement/unlimited (in time) unemployment money and social housing. They just can't and won't be tied down into any resemblance of stability and there's little you can do to force them. He's an unmedicated schizophrenic and his age and general social environment is unfavorable for any kind of positive prognosis, to put it mildly.

The C64 was (and kind of still is) an amazing computer tho. The original Hackers' computer. (Hacker in the original meaning of the term)

Good thing he chose portland, the whitest place in america, even the bums are gentrified.
 
Seems to have lost his camper/car as well, so that should be life on the streets for him now.
But as long as Terry is churning out YT videos at this pace, he's not going to die on us anytime soon.
(I also cannot see a change in his incoherent biblical ramblings and dishevelled apprearance).

edit:
Browsed through some of his vids and just found out, that he broke his collarbone and left it untreated, dang it. Man, that guy is so far out, he's truly in Gods' hands now.
And he's talking to that god via his DIY operating system with VGA resolution. Amen to that.
