Palestinian terrorists routinely disguise as Jews to commit their attacks.

4 dead, 5 critically wounded, 21 wounded in all. One of the victims is a 4 year old girl.

Palestinians celebrated it as a Ramadan gift and distributed candies and held celebrations.

It looks as though the shooters were confirmed to be Palestinians, hailing from the same village and members of the same family to boot (I've heard they were cousins, but that's not confirmed in this particular article).

Several months ago I made a post about why Palestine isn't the innocent sacrificial lamb in this conflict and what it should do to stop fucking itself over. The first and most important point is this:

Palestine in general glorifies terrorists and suicide bombers as "martyrs" and refuses to truly condemn their actions. They literally name schools, streets, and other locations after terrorists. They also publish gushing eulogies about and shower posthumous awards on their "martyrs." It doesn't take a sociologist to tell how harmful this culture of glorifying death, violence, and terrorism is. What's really toxic is the Palestinian idea of "martyrdom;" many parents openly admit that they would love and be honored to see their children become "martyrs." Golda Meir, an Israeli politician, said it best: "Peace will come when the Arabs start to love their children more than they hate us."

You do not celebrate the deaths of civilians. Ever. Terrorists try to justify it by saying that since all Israeli citizens (including women) are drafted into the IDF they all count as fair game, but that actually makes their rhetoric worse because they're acknowledging that Israelis don't have a choice. And a lot of (not all, but a lot of) non-terrorist Palestinians don't exactly have the moral high ground either. Celebrating every time terrorists attack Israelis and then glorifying them (the murderers, not the victims) as martyrs makes it really hard to be sympathetic.

Also, I love all the victim-blaming that's going on. I've read several articles and there are always a few people saying that "Israel brought this on itself." Right, because all of the people who were killed or wounded totally have a say in Israel's policies and are directly responsible for Palestinian woes. There are also people expressing far more concern for what may happen to Palestinians than what's already happened to Israelis ("Israel is going to respond by killing 400 innocent Palestinians!!!")

I'm rambling, but yeah, this whole situation is really fucked up. I disagree with many of Israel's policies (especially foreign policies) but I support the state itself while also supporting the rights of Palestinians. This conflict should not have dragged on for as long as it has, and both sides have their share of the blame for that.

At my university, back in May the Jewish club were having an Israel Day party with Israeli candy, wrist bands and other baked goods.
Palestinian 'club' members protested by holding up signs about how bad Israel is.
I wonder how they'd try and explain this away.

Palestinians are some of the biggest cunts and douchebags I've ever met in my life. These are the same people who supported Saddam Hussein in the Gulf War, and many of them do not deserve the sympathy they want.
