I know it sounds awful, but I'm really hoping that the shooter is some jilted boyfriend or nutjob ex-employee. The continuous stream of religious cuntery in the world is like the entire sewerage systems of the world combined. An ordinary nutjob would be almost comprehensible for once.

Stormfronters have invaded the chat according to Something Awful's GBS thread.

Fire department scanner just said OPD has told them to move 1,00 feet back from the scene. About 10 minutes ago they stopped bring out casualties. Several police officers are reported to have been shot.
 
I've got to go with extreme right-wing terrorist. Isis usually seems to go with more public or religious targets while right wing nutters target abortion clinics and more political things.

If there is more than one shooter, then the chances of this being a secular act of bastardry drop like a lead balloon. Fuck's sake.

Probably not ISIS, more likely a Christian group. Wouldn't be the first time they've shot up and bombed a gay club in the US.
Probably not domestic violence or targeted on an individual IMO.

Police are saying shooter (singular) dead. It was witnesses who reported more than one and it was probably pretty confusing in there.
 
Two public shootings in one weekend, what the fuck Orlando.

Nobody's mentioned any fatalities aside from the gunmans and there's no suggestion of people in critical condition. Hopefully that's true and isn't just a result of the confusion stopping information getting out.

Edit- It was just the confusion. This whole thing is fucking horrible.

For some reason, I really would not be surprised if it was ISIS, especially since they hate the LGBT crowd. I'm pretty sure it's either some Christian extremist or Muslim extremist, leaning towards the latter to be honest.
