Attorney General Pam Bondi said U.S. officials foiled a planned terror attack in Los Angeles, arresting four people allegedly plotting to launch a series of bombings on New Year’s Eve.

Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel said they arrested members of the “Turtle Island Liberation Front,” describing it as a pro-Palestinian extremist group.

“After an intense investigation, the Department of Justice, working with our @FBI, prevented what would have been a massive and horrific terror plot in the Central District of California (Orange County and Los Angeles). The Turtle Island Liberation Front—a far-left, pro-Palestine, anti-government, and anti-capitalist group—was preparing to conduct a series of bombings against multiple targets in California beginning on New Year’s Eve,” Bondi wrote, adding that the group also planned to target immigration officers and their vehicles.

“We will continue to pursue these terror groups and bring them to justice.”

According to The Associated Press, the suspects were arrested in Lucerne Valley, where they were suspected of preparing to test improvised explosive devices ahead of the planned bombings.

Each faces charges including conspiracy and possession of a destructive device, according to court documents reviewed by the outlet.

Patel said FBI agents in New Orleans made a fifth arrest with a possible connection to the Los Angeles plot.

“In the days since, @FBINewOrleans arrested an additional FIFTH individual believed to be linked to this radical TILF subgroup – also allegedly planning a separate violent attack,” he wrote on X, referencing the Turtle Island Liberation Front.

“Outstanding work by our investigators and law enforcement partners @TheJusticeDept. Their work undoubtedly saved countless lives.”

Why is a terror cell in LA using a niche chug term for North America that no one outside of the rural and semi-rural parts of 519/226 area code in Ontario, Canada has ever heard? Even the Natives in the US don't use it, it's strictly a Six Nations thing. Sketchy.

Turtle Island is the the "indigenous name" of America.

No it's not. It's what the losers in Kahanwake outside of MTL call it. Guess what, they lost so nobody cares about them. To extract the name across ethnic and language groups continent wide is some pozzed Canadian shit!
nearly all of us live in Oklahoma

Lmao you guys really did lose.

Yeah I know, it's just this term specifically is very regional. It's not a generic Native American term, it's a very specific term that is pretty much exclusively from the opposite end of the continent.

5th one arrested in Louisiana. A fat satanist troon!

This name sounds familiar maybe, but it might have been some other indian org with turtle in the name.
I know there is a group of pretendians called something like "Turtle Island Nation" or "Turtle Island Tribe" that has spent years trying to get declared a real tribe entitled to government handouts. Their name is SEO poisoned now.

It really is the 60s again. Jesus fucking Christ.
Nah, some of those radicals actually managed a body count and tied down entire cities for an afternoon when they had a standoff.

None of these neo-revolutionaries have killed anyone but themselves.

Two have managed to either get iced (lol) by ICE when they pop off, or, that one absolute unit who managed to wound a couple illegals, missed ICE completely and then ate his rifle when he realized he'd never thought about the whole what-do-I-do-after-I-show-them-I'm-serious. thing and was now trapped on a roof with cops closing in.

We live in Clown World 60's.

It’s their white guilt revisionist history. To them, the Americas were a utopia with native tribes living in harmony with nature and each other before the evil white man showed up. Conveniently ignoring the brutality of civilizations like the Aztecs, of the archeological evidence of brutal conflicts for territory and resources dating back thousands of years.

Also Canada’s indigenous activists are more unhinged because their countries government enables them. These Redditors were probably “inspired” by the Canadians and might have even been talking to them online.

Been keeping up with these spheres for sometime. Maoist-Fanonism, Indigenous resurgence, etc...

These groups need to be given more attention-in the broader left wing complex.
