Although the "identify as attack helicopter meme" is stale as fuck and never really was that clever, it's very telling what kind of mod team this game has when something so relatively harmless gets you banned. I'm getting strong Warframe vibes from this.

From an outsider who doesn't have the game, the seeming lack of options the dev team has given the person is funny here:
  • Is there no ignore or mute function? That's the bare minimum of anything that's online.
  • Even ignoring the block function, is there no warning or timeout system so people can have a chance correct their behavior? Or like, a timeout function?
  • (Unlikely, but still worth considering: ) What if this person was making an offensive joke that was about themselves)
If any of these things do exist (or even just knows how banning works in this game) and I'm being a moron, I encourage someone to correct me, but this is warning worthy at worst.
 
Did they ban the sperg from the entire game, so sad no refunds? Or just from being able to chat? Such a milquetoast shitpost is definitely not warranting being booted off of a MMO.
 
I'm so glad they're making a pokemon mmo. All the fun of the original ones was that it wasn't self contained and you had to constatnly be connected to the internet and everything got patched to death. Also the game self destructing if you named your rival a naughty word like poo.

I'm also really glad we now live in a society where downs syndrome sufferers can get proper jobs. The game industry is really cool
 
TEMTEM VARIETY - WRONG TYPES TOO EARLY
TemTems have a very specific way of being distributed. The full game is going to be across 6 islands, each containing 2 different types of TemTem as the primary occupants.

Players start on deniz, the top-right island with lots of water. It has primarily Water and Wind temtem, with a smattering of other types. So far, they're moving anti-clockwise, with the farmland of Omninesia/The Myrisles (two names for one place, great) having Nature and Fire temtem, followed by the blighted lands of Tucma having Toxic Temtem on top and Crystal temtem underneath, and the remaining three, unreleased islands being earth/neutral, Digital/Electric, and Mental/Melee in order. I was honestly surprised to find out Tucma was island 3, as that seemed like a shoe-in for last island with it's bleak atmosphere and stuff, but what do I know?

Well, I know that Wind is a silly choice for first common type. See, more of the temtem in the first area or so are Wind-type temtem, because water temtem obviously occupy the water. But Wind-type temtem resist Wind-type techniques, and are only extra effective against Toxic. This makes owning most wind-type temtem near useless for a long while - even more so because you actually get a wind-type temtem, Tuwai, as your second starter. The only temtem you can catch at first that aren't Wind is the Neutral Rabbit/Gerbil thing Tateru, the squirrel/fox thing Skail(Neutral to Neut/Melee), or a duck with a sai named Saipat(Water/Melee and rare).

Flying Temtem only have one weakness - Electric - and they share it with Water Temtem. This makes the two early game electric types super powerful for Deniz. One, Ganki, is a flying/electric type... bee thing? The other, Nessla is a water/electric serpent.

Nessla you can only get after beating the Deniz dojo, but let me tell you, it's absolutely broken for Deniz if you set it up right. Catch one with Electric Synergist (read, volt absorb). Put it in the second position in your party, so it comes out on the right side, Cast Chain Lightning on the opposite corner, and watch as it hurts both enemy temtem and heals you. Because Chain Lightning is an attack that jumps two steps clockwise, which makes it hurt your own teammate... unless they have not-volt absorb!

Related topic, remember how awful it is when a shiny runs away or faints itself? Well, get ready, because every single temtem - including Luma TemTem - can exhaust and kill itself through using more stamina than it has left! And there's no false swipe or anything yet, so get ready for f u n.

I don't know if that could be be considered funny or sad, i mean, a lot of people started to support Temtem solely because they were unhappy with how Gen VIII was handled, SwSh was considered to be a mess of a game, a broken product and called pretty much anyone who bought the game a shill... only to shill even harder for an arguably even more broken game...

Also, should we bring up the wolf furry of p-word community? He's made about three vids on the subject, and... Whoo boy. Last one he called the game a cash grab.
 
Definitely unfair to pick on a game for typos in early access, but this one is too good to pass up. Found on the temtem forums.

If you ever watched a bit stuff about pokemon on youtube, it's almost given that you would stomp into Verlisify, he is a bit infamous for making shitty videos with clickbait thumbnails and titles as well as being terrible player. He is also a furry.

Wait, you actually choose your pronouns at the start of the game? That's hilarious, you can't make it any more obvious you're making a game for manchildren instead of kids. Personally, Sword and Shield was very disappointing and its defenders were obnoxious but people who are ready to spend 35 dollars on a poor man's clone are even worse than that. Play Digimon or a fanhack, it's not that hard. They have an obsession with Pokemon even while hating it, so they play an exact copy of it.
