Null, I just got a banner that told me to open a new tab for tartarus to solve a capcha when I was trying to sticker a post. I just wanted to say that is a really nice UX add.

Tartarus issue, Tor using Brave on Windows.
First load sight, tartarus work challenge solved. As on Tor, go to log in. There's a verification thing below the password but it never pops up (previously it would after site load- as there was a solver to get to the page, I'm not sure if this is intended or not). Login, error, didn't solve work. Have to retype password and login, click the stupid box that shows up on the interstitial page.

Do we really need to jump through two tartarus hoops? Seems like one should be sufficient. There's also been issues with the front page tartarus box (below the password) not loading in the past, or being the last thing loaded on the page, but it didn't load at all after some time.

yes because a gay pedophile is trying to bust compromised accounts to post child porn and links to child porn. the captcha is a more difficult challenge that is not appropriate to play on random requests. if you get David Hoffman arrested I will remove the box.

i'll look into the tor issue.

I wish I could click a thread reply ID and see all the replies to it, sometimes I want to see peoples reactions to a post :(

Click the tiny picture of your PFP at the top of the page, then click "Reactions recieved".

It's not quite what you are looking for but it's an easy way to see people's reactions to posts you have made. It's pretty much the first thing I do when first starting a session on the Farms.

Dealing with a verification issue now on desktop with Brave. Tartarus when signing in gets up to 84% on the data challenge and then gets a error consistently.
I am seeing this on mobile using Vanadium which is just a hardened version of Chrome shipped with GrapheneOS. It took about two minutes (maybe more) before it said "lol try again."

I wouldn't mind the wait if it worked,

TOR on the same device worked fine for me.

It does work, but your browser is stripping any and all information which makes it distinguishable from a headless browser ran by a gay pedophile who spams child porn.

The software itself will be no-js.

There is a no-js way to do KiwiFlare. It is based off of haproxy-protection which gives you a shell command to paste in and get the solution without js.
I imagine there's been a change of plans since Hoffman started pulling credential stuffing bullshit on the farms?

Well, I'm not too much of a paranoid schizo so I can live with a little JavaScript, just liked the simplistic no-JS forum gimmick.

yes, correct. PoW alone is simple anti-DoS. The bot detection is strictly to stop David Hoffman, child pornographer the FBI is aware of and does nothing about, from spamming child porn.

The Tartarus-on-login captcha is taking extremely long for me. Maybe it's because I'm a Eurocuck on IPv6, but it feels like I need to mine Null an entire Monero before I can log on. (Takes over a minute on my high-end desktop, and it's become rather impossible (actually impossible, not exaggerating impossible) for me to log in using a mobile phone.)

I get why we need it. But maybe the mechanism could gradually start lowering the risk class of certain IPs after a certain amount of succesful captcha completions?

Edited in later: Okay maybe it's because I'm on some retarded privacy browser on mobile, makes sense. Still weird on the desktop though.

Correction: in every other case, no-JS is possible. Clearnet, Tor (built-in security levels), using uMatrix, regular NoScript, all of it.

However, this is useful solely for lurking, because to log in you need to solve the Tartarus click-to-solve captcha, which uses the IP bot check APIs, which forcefully require you to have JS enabled.

The specific case where that "There is no way to complete this check by hand." message appeared is on I2P, with NoScript. I'm not exactly sure why.

One of the Tartarus frontends in rotation is reporting 503. Sample request ID: 08db99e697000005

Refreshing for some time will land on a working frontend.

Ed: bad frontend seems to be fixed / have left rotation now

Brave mobile on iOS, while scrolling past video attachments the page breaks by reloading the page and then showing whatever is open in the private window.

Not sure if this is a site issue or a Brave issue. I'm using Brave Origin and it doesn't like leaving KF in the background. I'm just letting it sit on the homepage but I frequently get notified that it's taking up extra resources and makes the tab go inactive even if I dimiss it. I'm not sure if this is a Brave issue, a KF issue, or a settings issue.

are you able to tell me how much memory your tabs are allowed

I'm not really sure how to find that information. I just know that KF over time takes a considerable amount of memory. It seems to only be an issue with the home page. Memory usage seems to keep going up until Brave flags it. Right now for instance it's eating up 1.8 GB of memory.

I had this issue but I thought it was fixed with the chat re-work. Have you tried globally disabling chat?
