Now that things are quieter, maybe fix that one front-end node that doesn't know what kiwifarms.net is.

Yes, one of these days I'll try IPv6 again.

At exactly 1400px width, the default letterboxing for Tor Browser, the forum's main content is left-aligned and not center-aligned. Any other width is aligned correctly. Occurring on both clearnet (green) and onionsite (purple). Tor Browser and Brave.
Why this isn't fixed already. how you can even fuck up the interface like that? Or is it intentional to troll Tor Browser users?

the default layout for this forum breaks at specific margins. i tried to fix one thing and it broke another.

If someone could relay this so that it's actually read and acknowledged, it'd be nice.

This is the second time that a chunk of my message got lost because Tartarus decided that my challenge cookie over Mullvad expired in the middle of typing a post, and the moment I pressed "Post", the message edit box disappears, no way to get it back. I reload, Tartarus challenge completes, and a part of my message is now gone and I have to type it all over again as it didn't cache in the draft before the cookie expiration. There should be a check done upon hitting "Post" to ensure a valid Tartarus challenge is present before the standard XenForo edit box removal happens.

I got this error on Tartarus:

Verifying your browser before accessing

This page could not finish checking your browser. A content blocker or privacy extension is usually the cause. Allow this page to run, then reload.
"

I was able to get through disabling my ublock, then opening a new tab. I was wondering if you could add the Perl / Python challenges like tor has when tarturus fails for those of us uncomfortable to turn off ublock? If that is possible.

I'd assume the issue is that it needs to probe for residential VPN usage, and that's not something you can run a python/perl snippet to replace unlike the PoW.

I know what the issue is with this and I'll see if I can fix it now.

I'll do better next time. Sorry bud.

You will now get this error when attempting asynchronous requests (saving drafts, posting) which hit the Tartarus block.

This is 100% XenForo's fault btw. It considered any non-5XX response to be OK.

I had to turn off Brave's shields to get my browser verified. I didn't try Ublock because I'm so used to an ad free internet that I just kinda forget it's there.

Some links in some OPs refer to the old onion url (kiwifarmsaafeme9m9csy9fvfhvcx2gmpkp1h5dj4yakufprsayon8tf.onion) and it makes me go very bald to replace the url with the new one in my browser every time. Ditto for clearnet links when browsing on tor and vice versa.

I would appreciate if you search/replaced old references with new ones.

Perhaps some kind of local urls, which would function well on both clearnet and onion regardless of specific url, are possible?

I can no longer access the site on mobile using 5G. Tartarus flags it as invalid and tells me I need to turn off my VPN and refresh. My retarded ass don't even got a VPN! I'm running Darkstar 5G,not sure why all that is flagged.

Your IP has been used for an rVPN proxy.

Is there any way I can get around this then? I mean on mobile. On my home wifi the website works just fine. I'm not the most tech literate, would running it through Tor on my phone work?
Tor should work.

As a lighter weight option:
  1. If you're on an iPhone, you could try iCloud Private Relay. This uses Cloudflare's WARP proxy network (but in a more private way than Cloudflare's own app).
  2. If you're on Android, you could try Cloudflare's 1.1.1.1 app- https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cloudflare.onedotonedotonedotone - this doesn't really add any privacy, but may well allow you to work around this issue.
  3. If your home router allows setting up a VPN, as long as it's something relatively modern (Wireguard is probably the best option) using that on your phone to bounce your traffic back to home would be another option.
  4. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES USE ANY KIND OF 'FREE VPN'*. Your mobile IP will have been blacklisted in the first place because someone previously on your address/a close network used a 'free VPN' app (that farmed out their phone connection as a reverse proxy).
* only possible exception would be ProtonVPN, which is relatively trustworthy as VPN providers go and has a very limited free service to upsell you to their regular premium plan
