I actually cannot connect to Tor at all.

Like in the video the guy posted- if I try to right click and download, it makes another tab open with the media and then you can click download again and it'll save. If I remember right even if you hit the download button it still makes another window pop up. I'll take a video tonight when I'm on my pc to show.

Just like Null said, this is a different case than mine - the picture and video players are two different modules of the site.
 
I hate to be a bother about something unimportant, but I tried switching out to my spooky avatar that makes it look like blood is dripping down while the symbol is drawn, and it's not animated here. I uploaded a GIF, but should I be doing something else for this? I wasn't able to change back to my cool animated avatar either, but it's been so long since I changed it that I may not be using the same image file.

I've attached the image I'm trying to use to this post.

Null I am on my hands and knees let me add quotes from my saved quotes into a post I am editing. As it stands I have to manually go into BBcode, copy the code for the quote in a reply at the bottom, and then move it back to the post I am editing.

If you're going to offer to blow the guy, at least save it for something good, like asking for new stickers or a run of new merch or some shit
 
I've been having this issue while phone fagging for a while now. I would say months at this point. I browse the site through brave browser while on my phone if that matters.

This is the issue.

When I quote someone/reply then I try deleting that quote it leaves it behind, and there is no way to reliably delete it. The ways I have managed to is if I have my undo history going back to when it was a blank text box, or if I get lucky somehow by doing select all then backspace but that only works probably 1/20 times I've tried it.

This is the kind of thing that will happen. I will get stuck with this saved in the text box. And I can't really do anything about it without trying to find hacky ways to deal with it if I'm on my phone.

That's because you've uploaded a ridiculous number of attachments. You have **46,385 active attachments** on posts (plus 1 on a profile post), and **160 abandoned draft attachments** that were uploaded but never attached to a post.

The error you're seeing is the upload rate limit. You uploaded 149 in the last half hour and have hit it repeatedly since about 10:43 AM. It resets on its own, so wait a bit and upload fewer files at a time.

I don't know if you're actually hurting for space or not, but I bet a global purge across all accounts of attachments in this state more then 1 month old would free up a SHIT TON of storage space, and if they haven't used a draft attachment in that long a time they're obviously not going to.

Might be an utterly pointless suggestion and you're long ago on top of that shit, but hey, just in case.

There already is one. Abandoned draft attachments are purged once they're more than 30 days old, by an hourly cleanup job plus a daily one that also catches uploads from deleted and banned accounts. Right now there are 3,148 of them site-wide and none is older than 30 days, so the cleanup is keeping up and there's no backlog to free.

The catch is that it only runs after 30 days, not within 30 minutes (or even a few days). Drafts stick around on purpose so people can build big posts over weeks. Uploading a huge pile of files you never post means they sit there until the 30 days are up.
 
I'm not sure if it's intentional, but on desktop the front page has re-arranged to render like it does on narrower screens: full width middle section, with all the active/new post boxes shoved to the bottom instead of the right hand side.

It switched sometime in the afternoon, looked different this morning.

Windows desktop, Brave browser, over clearnet with VPN.
1920x1080 desktop resolution, Style 2025, Style Variation dark

first attempt:
logged in with password, no verification box came up, though the word "verification" was visible.

second attempt:
verification box came up
data challenge took minutes, then failed.

(been a while since logged in on clearnet. nice to see the Halloween theme)

Edit to add:
Able to log through, tor , though once again, the first time i tried, no verification box appeared, though the space for it was present, failed attempt. Second attempt, verification box appeared and was able to log in successfully.
Meh.

I'm finally able to get past the bot check after.. well since day one of it.. (haven't tried for a week or so till today) so thanks for something. I got past the first parts but the data load second part would always get to 100% and fail. did notice that all net traffic stopped at about ~23% (or ~20 seconds?) but made me sit through the remaining 77%.

Something i notice on loading anything, even before login.. Is here now a connection # cap or something because so many things seem to be loading one at a time? images especially. and slow.
