Someone (presumably David, I guess?) logged into my account and posted in the David Hoffman thread last night. I have since deleted the text of the post and changed my password, as well as installing 1password. Just thought I'd mention it as there's a line on the front page mentioning him. The email/password were not compromised anywhere else as far as I know. I only use this username and email address on KF, nowhere else.

I don't even know who this David guy is, really, he's not a lol cow I follow.
 
Is it me or my user logs no longer display my latest posts?

This was my latest post displayed on search results while I should have at least 5 other postings today.

EDIT: Apparently other users have their user search logs cut off as well so you can't find their recent postings on up to a day ago.

The past few days browsing on mobile I've been signed out every few hours. I have "stay signed in" checked, I changed my password and added a passkey to be safe but my details here are different from any other site I'm on, so it's strange.

yes when content loads in after the page loads the height adjusts. this is how browsers work.
 
Video player has completely disappeared:

The only part of the UI that ever shows is the play button when initially clicking, which immediately disappears. There seems to be a small bit of background still left near the bottom left, in what looks like some kind of bubble, that also won't go away but does nothing.

I need to right click the video and click "download" before I can get a usable UI, but that overwrites the entire page.
 
The new player ui looks pretty ass tbh:

At least on mobile the pause button along with volume button on vertical videos are gone, so I have to go full screen just to make it show up.
Also whatever menu you get from the top settings button is cropped off. I don't know if it does the same thing as the one on the bottom but them having nearly the same icon doesn't make sense regardless.

I also prefer the expand button to just sit on bottom right corner like most players. tldr old player ui back plz
 
I sometimes make investigative posts into piratesoftware(the guy exposed as a fraud in every way), I've found that I can't search specific links for old posts featuring the link in his thread/the site in general.

Trying to find the discussion on his page around a short of his, and I remember this working prior atleast into mid 2025. Not sure if the search feature has changed and I'm just doing it wrong.

Ok, after you updated the player to support HDR. it's been completely broken for me on Safari. The video will play normally for a second, then the video will shift down about half of the viewport, leaving me with something like this. Does not happen on Brave.

I'm aware, I need to reconfigure my dev environment to fully fix it, sorry.
 
When I click to make some Americonfetti, navigate to another page while it's still on-screen, and then go back, the Americonfetti becomes glued to the screen, and I am unable to make more Americonfetti.

I get this too, but I don't really consider it a problem worth bothering about since the confetti effect is short term for a day or two at most, celebrating the brick-breaking of brickface Dong Long Gone.

lol I can rapidly go back and forth in my history clicking and the confetti continues to fall separately in each page

I'm not sure if it is a known issue or not but the last few days I haven't been receiving my 2fa codes in my email when trying to sign in.
 
The confetti is screwing with me. When I click to leave a sticker, check notifs, comment, change pages etc instead of confetti I'm redirected to a white screen. Sometimes the page goes on to load, sometimes it doesn't (especially if it's clicking to leave a sticker and not opening a new page). I use duckduckgo, never had a problem with confetti before but this coincided exactly with the confetti being instituted. Just fyi. I'm having to copy and paste this comment because clicking on the comment box does it too.
