They don't disclose the methods, just say that you have to be physically within US to redeem it. VPNs never seem to work from what I see on discussions online (which are mostly jeets btw).
won a 5$ one from a promo years ago, picked US since it didn't have my country as an option, tried finding ways to redeem it and failed. I remember getting this when inputting the code, press continue and they will tell you it can not be redeemed since you don't live in the US

Okay, this is good information. Some people have suggested that how they launder the money is by making their own apps with in-app purchases. So the cards have to be sent to a mule in the correct region before they can be used with the scammer's in-app purchases.
The scammer group will build their own apps with in-app purchases and then use the gift card funds to make massive purchases. Or they'll sell the cards for less than they're worth for crypto.

I hate blutooth. I hate that the most popular phone does not have head phone jack because now it will be phased out of all of them. This is very upsetting. This has been ongoing for years.

Is there a reason you suspect this?
It's strange to me that a lot of older women are really into keeping chickens all of a sudden. Lolcow Melinda Leigh Scott is one of these people. She’s seem to have rebranded as a trad wife now. I know women IRL who are doing it too. A few decades ago an older women would have thought that's icky and that she’d get sick from bird shit. That's another suspicious trend. It's like a future where some people have to live, barely surviving, above the level of camping, having to use battery for their electricity, and cut-off from industrial goods. Camping supplies make sense to already have in that case. I watch a lot of videos online where people show how they are building "off grid" homes and cabins. They don't look good. They live using very little energy and have to hall around batteries and hope for hours of strong sun during the day to charge the batteries off solar. I can see that clearly they are going to be going without a lot of electrical amenities because living like that makes energy so much more tedious and expensive.

Other people are doing the exact opposite and seem to have developed "communist survival instincts" where they never speak their minds about anything and are very cautious and wait to see what's per-approved before they give any opinion. (this YouTube and I feel like I’ve seen it all my life) There is this clear stratification where you have one group that is being lead to want to live off grid and another that is complete bought-in to popular culture, transgenderism, and critical race theory.

No one actually would choose to live off grid the way the channels I've seen demonstrate it. They look like fools. They try to live of solar and sell their dumb solar changers and they use the type of solar panels that only work in full sun, so they are not that reliably to recharge batteries. Currently these people survive by having diesel and gas generators as a back up, but that’s only as good as you can afford fuel and other people will sell it to you. These channels are modelling returning to a way of living where you can't grow it you wont have it and if you can't afford to produce it yourself you will have to go without. The Tech products that they sell through sponsorships are all cheap crap that wouldn't last in a real crisis.

Do you remember that Rockefeller map that showed “nature healing zones”? It was a map where most of the United States was designated to be allowed to return to the whiled and there wore only small communities of people limited to the cities.

There is an agenda being pushed by Warren Buffet and other oligarchs to Y connect the entire electrical grid. The issue with that is on a distribution transformer the Y style transformer can cause the neutral line to turn live, so that you get shocked off of the neutral prong of an electrical outlet. This is happening an Nevada and else where. Nevada is very rural. Outside of Las Vegas, the entire state is barren desert. (and a big air force base but that’s not relevant here) Not everyone is going to go along with living in a 15 minute city, so they are allowing people to self-select as doing the prepper / homesteading life style so that they can be kept down living in the wilderness and struggling to survive. In the future being created, it is difficult to get consumer goods because production is centralised and converted to a communist model. This will be easier for people to accept initially if they don’t feel like every month they are running out to replace essential items like drinking glasses and pots and pans. Glasses break a lot. They are more expensive and less reliable. If you had to have one cup to drink out of for you entire life that you’d have to go without if it broken and couldn’t replace, you’d want to start with a metal drinking cup. Imagine waiting in a soup line in your 15 minute city with your cup. There are no disposable cups allow because “that’s a sin against mother gia”. The future is going to be very different to today. This is what I base my suspicions on.

I don't like how the ways of getting "monetized" or not on YT has led to really annoying trends, like the excessive and kid-friendly censoring of words, or this BS of having tl;dw "video essays" that are longer than episodes of a TV show or maybe even a movie. I miss when someone could say "suicide" instead of "self-deleted", and vids got to the point without trying to "explain" it in a TL;DW way. Also, vid thumbnails are rarely just screenshots from the video anymore -- they're always "loud" and attention-grabbing.

I remember a pre-Adpocalypse period when you could swear and still be monetized. Now talking about topics that can be talked about even in daytime television is le hecking problematic for the Pajeettube overlords.

Is that when YT really started going after ad blockers and non-YT frontends?
It was when some journos noticed there were one too many non-kosher contents on youtube that were monetized, make articles saying having ads beside them may cause normies to think the companies agree with the contents and caused big advertisers to pull out of youtube en masse. As a result youtube went into panic mode and started demonitizing litterally everything. People then self-censor themselves to keep the sweet ad money and the platform never recover after that.
This also causes a trend I fucking hate which is shilling for donations / purchases outside youtube because "I'm at risk of getting demonitized" / other yt bad excuse. You would have a video that:
- is sponsored
- features patreon
- features paypal
- features kofi
- features merch (sold on multiple platforms)
and whatever ebegging platform they could think of. The content itself is normie friendly shit that would never be demonitized

Was this around the time that I noticed all that new self-censorship appearing? I think that was sometime in the last 5 years or so, so I guess it was in 2020-ish?
a few years before that, when pewdiepie and co were still active. I think edgy humor on yt died around that time too.

The noise electronic devices make under load even though they shouldn't. It's a kind of fine sawtooth sound. If you have a quiet setup, even a bit of coil whine can get on your nerves.

Coil whine was the main reason Apple didn't consider Intel Skylake CPUs for their MacBooks back in 2015.

Bluetooth is absolute dogshit. I have no idea why it's everywhere.

It was YouTube demonetizing things based on algorithms and certain words occurring. If your primary source of income requires you not to say certain words, is it really worth a couple grand just to say "suicide" instead of some dumb shit like "sewerslide?"
