Is it all an ego thing at this point?
At this point, I just figure it's everyone not Kaiser has given up on trying to get Kaiser to let them do Buu - I at least remember Lani saying he liked that arc at one point, and we all know Kaiser not liking it (and being a turbo-autist on being the sole editor) is what killed the series.

That said, would the Buu saga draw as many eyes as it would've years ago? TFS has fallen off hard, and while there'd probably be a spike for the first few episodes, remember that the early parts of that arc were a slog (Gohan going to HIgh School and the Great Saiyaman or however it's spelt) and you know they'd probably drag those out...

Reminds me of one of their DBcember lists where, I don't remember which list it was, one of the high entries had the 'judges' admitting that none of them had much to any experience with the entry, but Kaiser wanted it that high on the list.

3 people & a whole company has died after going against him, while another is enroute any time soon).
I mean, he lost his case so is having to pay those people even more than the Judge wanted to initialy, the VAs still have work and the company is full of all the same people just under a different name and brand.

That’s hardly death.

Fuck Ty Beard.
What an actual nothingburger. The main event she describes with XTheDarkOne being 24 and fucking a 17 year old girl kind of lacks the impact when they're all from britbong land and the age of consent (to my knowledge) is 16 across the board over there.
It is. 100% legal in Bongland

I feel like if they went with their original plan to start waiting until they had five episodes in the can, and then releasing them at a more consistent pace, it would help them come back as people got back into the habit of checking them out. Plus, that HFIL show has decent views, getting more than a million.

It could be that this commentary series is a lead up to them bringing back the show, because what else can they do when it's done besides Hellsing? Talk about the shorts they did after DBZA, of which there are less than twenty after four years? That FF7 show they did? They probably will in the hopes they can keep afloat a little longer but if they don't bring back DBZA, or get those shorts out quicker, they're fucked.

I think KaiserNeko is very lucky for two reasons:

1. I'm not really super into the world of lolcow watching.

2. He and his work and his antics seem really tied into TFS and DBZA.

If either of those two things weren't true, I'd imagine that he'd have had a thread in at least Prospering Grounds a long time ago.

What I will never understand is why they didn't just do their original idea of blocking the Buu Saga off into 3 videos of maybe hour long movies. That way they can set the pace and cut whatever they damn well please and call it a day. You can end it with Majin Vegeta and end the first episode with a cute little gag of Buu turning Vegeta into a giant dog biscuit to end that joke. End the second one at Super Buu blowing up the earth, and finish it off with Kid Buu.

They took themselves WAY too seriously. They admitted when they ended things they thought that Perfect Cell was the best way to end DBZ and that Buu was too much of an anti-climax. Apparently the epilogue with Trunks made them realize they could never do anything that would top the way they handled Perfect Cell and so they decided not to bother.

The hour long videos... I don't know, maybe? I feel like one of the ideas they suggested where they had a buffer of episodes would be best. If they take too long between updates, they'll lose fans. It's currently happening with the HFIL series.

The only thing more retarded than the decisions this “studio” made after it reached its peak popularity are its fans who won’t shut the fuck up about it yet play dumb whenever you ask about it. As if internet jokes from videos in the 100K+ range of views are some kind of niche inside jokes.

Are you even making sense?

TL:DR Totally Not Mark asked for a clip like they did for his Dragonball review, and they gave him half an hour of content from across the arc

I'm guessing this like a Kai Abridged situation, and they want to fully kill Buu by being able to say they've done all their find interesting in it?

A compilation of the clips from a random YT account is already up to 228,000 views in 10 hours.

Better then nothing really.
